Healthy way of getting rid of retained water?!

Is there a healthy way to get rid of retained water?? I woke up this morning and my hands were swollen and I felt extra huge!! Help? THANK YOU!!

    What they said...a lot of water, no or little salt, and I like to take a Diurex on the particularly bloated days (like time of the month days)...obviously a temporary solution only but it does work.

    agree with all responses. I was having the same problems. I added sodium to my tickler and I was eatting toooooo much sodium. Even diet soda's have sodium :( That and drink all your water even more than you think you could hold! It's helped me.

    Also eating whole, healthy foods and fewer carbs help reduce water retention. It's not 100% sodium.

    I drink 1 L of water with 1 tbsp of lemon juice mixed in it once a week, or if I eat out. I find it helps!

    2. Drink lots of water, natural diuretic...
    3. Exercise and sweat it out...

    also talk to your doctor. if it is right for you, they could prescribe a diuretic.
