Heart Rate Monitor

I'm looking for a heart rate monitor that won't cost too much. Suggestions anyone? Does anyone have one that doesn't require the strap? If so, how accurate do you think it is? I need one that will give me an accurate calorie burned count.

    I have the polar FT4 it's AMAZING, has a strap but it isn't bad and it's spot on!!!! 60.00 dollars at amazon. Hope it helps!

    garmin forerunner 305. I don't mind the strap.

    used my new polar4ft three times so far. after five minutes, i don't notice the strap. to be honest, the watch is more annoying to me, but i've never been a watch person. happy with it, overall. amazon has best prices.

    I just bought a watch style hrm. It works great. Walmart Sportline S12 for about 40.00. It has a lot of other neat stuff on it too.:smile: New toys are fun!
