Today I cycled in an indoor stationery bike race for handicapped children. It was awesome, as well as challenging. We had a team of 4 and each team member had to ride for minimum of 10 min. We each rode 15 mins rotatining. It doesn't sound like a lot of time. However, 10 mins at full speed ahead was quiet challenging. After completing the min requirement of time we each did 5 more mins each. This 5 min seemed harder than the 10 min. All in all it was great.0

Nov 1 was 76 minutes on the trainer (to Local Hero)
Nov 2 (today) was 62 minute road rode for 33.5km (20.8 miles), for an average pace of 32.2km/hr (20.01 mi/hr).
Nov 3: 90 minute road ride (cold out!!) in the morning, and in the afternoon 119 minute trail ride.

Sounds like everyone is turning some great miles. I didn't ride yesterday instead I sagged for my dh who was riding the road from TX to OK but it was horrible chip surface anyways that is done lol.
Today I had a great ride was out early- no wind- sunny- cool. I went the farthest I have gone yet and I made it halfway up our highest hill- I was pleasantly surprised :bigsmile:

I'm up for this! I cycle 24 miles a day if I can to work, 12 each way. I use Runkeeper, my best month ever was September this year where I did 385 miles in one month. I'd like to surpass that this month. Anyway, here are my stats for the last 30 days.

Hi there, I would love to join this challenge, I try to bike to work at least once a week but due to really bad british weather and problems with my bike I haven't done it in over 3 months
I plan to ride to work at least one day each week until the end of the month, it is just over 30 miles round trip and we are entering british winter time so it is cold and dark. Good luck everyone with their personal goals :drinker:0 -

Hi, I'm back in for November, after a good start in the October challenge I unfortunately fell way short of my 100 mile target only completing 63 miles.
I felt bad initially, blaming the british weather, with the dark nights being the only time I can get out on my bike, and with rain and fog my enthusiasm faltered. However having now had time to reflect upon what I actually did achieve I realised I did 63 miles more last month than I did the previous month and that is all down to this topic posting.
So, thank you to the originator and the couple of extra friends picked up along the way for their encouragement.
Therefore I'm trying again and setting myself the same target this month to see how close I can get.
Anyone who wants to add me as a friend for mutual encouragement etc please feel free to do so.

Is this a group or a topic? I rode on Saturday for 12.5 miles - my first spin class of the winter. I move to spinning in the winter becuase I hate riding in the cold. But I love my bike so I ride inside during the winter and outside in the warmer months.0
