It's my birthday tomorrow AND I'm loosing weight! Yay!

Hello everyone on MFP who takes a moment to read. I am entering my third week of attempted goal weight attainment. So far, so good. No longer in denial that I am aging, less active and my metabolism is starting to slow down, I think I have finally found my will and a recipe for weight loss that works for me, after so many failed half *kitten* attempts. I'm eating super healthy foods using portion controls, attempting to eat approximately every three hours, and have slowly started to incorporate an exercise program into my routine, now that I have a grasp on the food side of things. I never realized how many great things came out of this. More energy, money saved, feeling great about accomplishments, and the many tasty foods I was missing out on while getting fat. I'm in the dieting phase of this lifestyle change, so wish me luck and feel free to throw as much encouragement my way as possible! I look forward to sharing this journey with you. I am in my second week of a 13 week travel assignment, so hopefully at the end I will be able to reach my short term goal of 160 lbs. Best of luck on your journey as well!!!!!
