Yes! I mix half a scoop of Myofusion cinnamon roll with 1/2 cup of almond milk and mix it with my coffee using the bullet. It's yummy!0

OMG that sounds awesome...off to get some cinnamon roll protien power0 -
I mix my cookies and cream protein powder, iced coffee, and half and half and serve over ice. PURE HEAVEN!0

No, but I add coffee to my protein powder. I use a Starbucks via in two scoops of valilla wheybolic 60 from GNC. I use it with either hood calorie countdown, skim milk or almond unsweetened vanilla. Either way, it is delicious!0

yes. I use Champion Whey Stack Protein-chocolate. Makes a nice mocha coffee. I drink it every am.0

Since I figured out this combination of protein + coffee, it's been my staple everyday since I take a coffee to work in a thermos. I usually add a few tablespoons of mine to the hot coffee, along with my creamer. My favorite kind is by All Pro Science, the Complete Grass Fed whey protein. (the vanilla or chocolate flavor is good)0

I've used cooled drip coffee to make my Body By Vi shakes, very tasty. It stirs into warm drinks too, my friend adds the Body By Vi to her kids hot cocoa just to give them extra nutrition. So I bet it work in coffee, I think I'll try that in the morning!0

I've done it before with chocolate flavored Body Fortress and it tasted great. It was like a lil mocha :-)0

Thanks everyone. My thought is that the protein would counteract any insulin spike caused by the caffeine.0

must use a blender!
I've yet to find a protein powder that mixes nicely into hot coffee without using my magic bullet! I use coffee as the base for my protein shakes most mornings though
must go find this cinnamon roll one though, sounds delish!0 -
I'm gonna try this :happy:0
-
officially trying this...well once I get through my current strawberry protein, I don't think that would be good with coffee0

Yes, one scoop chocolate with 4 oz skim milk - shake well, then add to 12oz coffee. Very good!! (GNC Pro Performance AMP, but I'm not married to it...)0

For a Mocha Frap I use one scoop of chocolate protein powder, 1 cup of non-fat milk, 2 spoonfuls of instant coffee and ice in blender. I also add no sugar flavorings sometimes like salted carmel or hazelnut. It's amazing!0

I dont mix my protein with coffee as anything milk in my coffee is wrong on every level. But I have mixed it in with other things and I found a protein that is fruit flavored that I mix with my juice - works best with OJ.
Have to hunt down this cinnamon roll protein - would be great mixed into a lot of things. Im imagining it in with my oatmeal since I already put cinnamon in it the extra protein would be awesome0 -
Coffee + protein sounds amazing. I have mocha cappuccino ON whey- that'd probably work awesome in coffee.... Question though- does it mix if you just put it in the coffee and stir it? Or do you need a blender or something of the sort?0

I've actually thought about doing this....I was afraid my stomach wouldn't be able to handle it. Plus I can be kind of a coffee snob, that first cup in the morning has to be perfect :drinker: But I maybe I should give this a try!0

I'm the opposite, I add coffee to my protein powder. I just use the instant kind.0
-
I did this today! I had my 2 scoops of GNC lean, chocolate, to my cup of coffee, 2 tsp of vanilla creamer and ice. Shake and you have a great iced protien shake!!!! It really was good.0

Yes, often...one scoop of vanilla Perfect Whey into a mug of coffee...stir and enjoy.0

Hello there Elisa!
I have some information for you.
First of all, I use Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein and I mix 1.5 scoops into 1c of milk and I shake it in a shaker. Then I use it as coffee creamer and this is enough for ~10-12 cups. Not quite a full pot for me but your taste may vary.
Next, and believe me when I say that this isn't a personal attack on you, and since you love coffee and you love whey you are just a delight in my book ---- whey protein is insulinogenic.
Adding whey to your coffee will raise your insulin, not lower it.
However, now I'm going to follow that up with some good news -- if you're not diabetic, I wouldn't worry one bit about insulin. It gets beaten up and misunderstood as this magical fat storage hormone when the reality is this: if you're maintaining a caloric deficit, you're going to lose fat regardless of any attempts or failures to manage acute insulin levels.
Here's some reading for you, and have a great day you wonderful coffee drinking person you.

I used to make a creamy mocha in the morning with almond milk, pea protein, and instant coffee, but pea protein is kind of hard to find.
I haven't had much luck with hot drinks and whey protein (or whey isolate), but I sometimes make a sort of iced coffee with water, vanilla whey (Body Fortress is cheap, so that's what I use), and instant coffee or I use coffee that's been refrigerated and add a scoop of vanilla protein to that. I shake it up in a Blender Bottle.
If you want it to be a bit creamier, you can add a little almond milk (half water/half almond milk tastes the best to me). Regular milk might work, too, but I haven't tried it.0 -

Hey, thanks for the great info.0 -
Yep. twice a day I add 12 oz of coffee to 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk and 1 scoop of muscletech chocolate whey.0
-
I never thought to do this before, but thanks for the idea and all the flavor tips everyone!0

The MyoFusion Cinnamon protein powdcer sounds great. I am trying to wean myself off the cappucino coffee creamer I am addicted to, and this sounds like it might be a viable replacement.
Thanks for the tip, I can almost hear the MajicBullit now...0
