1 HOUR TEN MINUTES AND 607 CALORIES!!!
:flowerforyou:

This is a pretty good workout for this girl! 3.25 miles and I RAN... for 6 minutes in a row during this session...and nothing was even chasing me!
For anyone who knows me, I used to believe that running was only for emergencies!!

I am doing my first 5K on thanksgiving morning... probably will walk most since I will be with my husband and daughter... but I think we will knock it out in less than an hour!

I know how you feel- I started running for the first time 3 months ago. I started doing the C25k programme. I this week ran 5k without stopping. I literally nearly cried I was so proud of myself. Keep it up. The rewards are immense xx

thank you for the support! the only reason I had to stop at 6 minutes was because my calves cramped up! then I did some 2 minute bursts of running during the rest of the time.

I had the same NSV today!!! yay for us!!! I have never ever ran in my entire life! I was going to use the couch to 5k app but i was too lazy to get the ipod off the armband to open it and enter the correct settings so i decided to run until i couldn't run anymore. I had to stop for four traffic lights but other than that... I completely went over my expectations!

I have asthma and i didn't have any wheezing episodes, i didn't even feel my lungs weird or anything, it felt amazing!!!

I think i can now look forward to training for a half marathon. I'll set it as a New Year's Eve resolution for 2013 :D

The river circuit was full of sunday runners, bikers, tourists and the sun was shining, the weather wasn't cold at all and the breeze was delicious!!!

I am definitely doing this again next sunday!

    Congratulations to us both!

Make sure you stretch before and after running :) always do a short warmup before starting
