Pancreatic Cramps while running

Just don't drink until you're finished. You'll be fine running for an hour without water.0

I hate it when my pancreas acts up. I just have a couple spoonfuls of sugar and that thing snaps right back into place.
FYI...just a spoonful helps the medicine go down. Two might bight too much.0 -
Maybe it's a tumor.
It's NOT a tumor.0 -

The proper term is taking the Browns to the Super Bowl. (For those of you who don't know...The Cleveland Browns play American football)0 -
Sounds like a stitch, to me. A stitch can be caused by a number of things. Given that it seems to be associated with drinking (for you), it's likely a bubble (as in gas). You're probably gulping a lot of air when you drink whilst exercising. (It's only natural. You're trying to drink while breathing heavily, after all.) Try allowing yourself to cool down enough to let your breathing slow a bit before drinking, so that you gulp less air.0 -
I had my pancreas taken out and pickled. I keep it in a jar at the side of my bed. I named it Bob.0

Hmm...half of the posts are just to tell me it is not my pancreas. Got it! I am not all that great at health science. I just thought that the banana shaped thing that turns your pee yellow might be it, but I guess I am wrong lol.
I generally eat a meal between 1-2.5 hours prior to working out. I will sometimes eat a protein bar throughout.
It has to have something to do with the water. It only happens after having the water. If I have no water in the 5 min pace layoff, and ceteris paribus, I have no cramps. So is there a doc that can documentatively tell me why the water causes this, almost immediately after ingestion? I do not think it is related to heart rate, but rather it hurts worse the harder I go, almost simultaneously. Since it takes the body a little longer to work up the heart rate when speed is increased, it cannot be the gradual change in heart rate. because it happens so sudden.
I can say that I will be taking two classes online, both in nutrition and in physical fitness. I need to better understand this stuff.0 -

And their two team colors look like, you guessed it. turds. Brown and Burnt Orange. It has a double entendre, as a pun and as irony. The turds are brown and they go into a.....big bowl...and the irony is that the Browns have never gone to the super bowl!0 -
I have had two severe bouts of acute pancreatitis, and I have read everything I could get my hands on to educate myself. I have also been seeing a GI specialist ongoing. The pancreas doesn't cramp because it's not a muscle. It secretes insulin into the bloodstream and the digestive enzymes adapase and lipase into the small intestine through the pancreatic duct. If you are experiencing pancreas pain you should immediately take rest and stop all food intake and limit yourself to sips of clear liquids to stop producing the digestive enzymes. If the pain persists you should seek medical attention as soon as possible. People die from pancreatitis.0
