June 2012. i am on cholesterol meds already, now i am told that i should be on a separate med for hi triglycerides. i was not pleased by that bit of news. i opted to try to lower it on my own, VOILA!! i found MFP! since july i have lost 20 lbs and walk most days of the week. here is a little triglyceride info, the average good reading should be 150 or less. mine was a whopping 322! in 5 months i have lowered it to 174! i am stronger and i am healthier and i am happier.

a small time commitment can yield great resu lts, and i am on my way!

I totally relate! IT feels so good doesn't it? So proud of you!

It took me only 4 months to change my menu enough that I was taken off Metformin for Type 2 diabetes. Hoping to come off the bp meds in a couple weeks.

How AWESOME!!! And...I've been in retail hell...must get back as I had started to regain about 3-4 pounds of the 19 I lost! UGH! Can't let that happen! Keep on rockin' sistah!
