    I'm 5'8" also.

    My MFP start weight was 218ish (could've been higher at some point but I was not weighing consistently then).

    Got down to 176 (pre-baby).

    Current weight is 194 @ 27 weeks gestation.

    Goal weight is 140-150 with 17-19% body fat. I have a medium frame.

  • I'm closer to 5'7", but my starting weight was 155 (size 8-10) with an initial goal weight of 128.

    Once I hit 125, I started maintenance and continue to lose slowly. My current goal is to maintain between 120 and 125, and I average around 122 with daily fluctuations between 119 and 124.

    I am very happy at this weight although I am between pant sizes at one of my favorite stores, so I'm not sure what to do about that. :ohwell:

    Jsyk, assuming you have an average build, you're underweight.

    Large frame (6.75" wrist) and have always been athletic. Aiming for size 8? I'd guess about 175 lbs.

    5'8 or 5'7.5 depending on who measures me. Highest weight was when I was pregnant with my first, 135. CW is 113. No goal weight, but I have goals for my races. Yes, it may seem like I'm underweight, but I am a long distance runner and it is not at all unusual to be this light.

    I'm 5'8.5" and I've been a big girl all my life. I have what I think is a large frame (not really sure) and I hope to get down to 170. That is my major goal and I will re-evaluate from there. I've never been that small so I have no clue if that will be good by me. We shall see! :)

    I reccomend you check out your frame size using online calculators, it's very simple and might surpise you . I though I was medium frame, but after measuring my wrists and entering my details on a couple of frame size calculators I was surprised to find out that I have in fact a small frame.

    I'm 5'7.5". Highest weight was 190, currently fluctuating between 149 and 150, goal weight is 140 at which point I will reevaluate/focus more on toning, strength and fitness.

    I think my frame is medium.

    Current weight 206, and just starting to move it down again...yay
    Goal weight, for now 180, then I'll start the next one of 157, for a nice even 100lb loss.

    I have a medium-small frame and I'm 5'7. My starting weight was 160, and I'm down to 145-143 (fluctuating here right now). My goal is to get below 125. So far I'm doing well, feel free to add me but please include a small message!

  • I am 5' 8". My highest weight was 268, current weight 238, goal weight 145.

    I don't know if I can get back down to 145. That is what I weighed before I started putting on the pounds. At 145 I was a size 6, now I wear size 16. Boy was that hard to admit to. My largest size was 20.

    I'm a little over 5'7, with a medium to large frame. I used to weight 192 lb, went down to 138 lbs, back up to about 165 lbs, and now i'm around 148 lbs. I'm hoping to lose another 10 pounds.

    I'm 5'8 1/2. Medium frame and look "smaller" than I actually weigh.
    Highest weight: ~225
    Starting weight on MFP: 199
    Lowest weight on MFP: 155
    Currently: 166 (I got lazy and gained a bit back)
    Goal weight: somewhere between 150 and 155 with around 21% body fat (currently somewhere around 25%)

    I'm 5'7". My highest (non-pregnant) weight was 181.2 lbs, I am currently just under 140 lbs, and would like to get down to around 130 lbs (but that's a moving target depending on what my body looks like and how I feel).

    I'm 5'8.5"

    My heaviest weight ever was 235 when I was 23 years old. I lost almost 90 pounds in a year and managed to maintain around 145-150 for almost 4 years. Then I got married, and began the slow process of gaining the weight back. It was anywhere from 3-5 pounds a year. When I turned 39, I was back up to 202. I became determined to NOT be 'fat and forty'

    In April 2011, I set a goal of losing 52 pounds. I was back at a healthy BMI by my 40th (September 2011) birthday and hit my goal weight in February of 2012. After that, I continued to lose weight before finally settling at 136 pounds in June of this year. I've been maintaining that within a +/- 3 pound range since then.

    I have a hybrid frame size :laugh: My wrists, ankles and elbows all fit into the small frame range. But my hips, shoulders and ribcage are all broad and spacious and are probably a medium to large frame.

    I think I look good at 136 lbs/20% bodyfat and would be happy to stay here.

    Am 5"8 and at 95kg my highest being at 224 when preggos. I lost weight to 93kg before taking in for my 4th baby and at that weight my friends were all saying I look sickly. My goal weight for now is 85kg and I really don't think I will look nice at any weight less than that. Am at the far left on my PRofile pix with the red top.

    I'm 5'8". My highest weight was 285, current weight is 270. Goal weight is 180, then I'll reassess and decide how much more I want to lose.

    Hi there!!
    I am 5'9" my highest weight was 140 current is 134.5 and I wish to keep it that way I just need motivation to help loose the body fat on unwanted places. I might seem like I am perfect but unfortunately I got those unwanted fat that is very noticeable): but i am working hard and pulling weights and doing pilates(: I am aiming for a two pack aha^^

    My goal weight is anywhere between 135-172, my highest weight was over 300, I'm back in the 200s now. (Medium to Large Frame, Hourglass/Pear shaped) it's been almost 7 years since I was at a healthy weight so once I reach my goal 'range' I will just tone up and see where I fall. I do not look good at all 120-130, and I'm actually fine with being over 150 if that's where my body maintains best. I originally started gaining after trying too hard to stay below what was healthy for my frame.

    Depending on your frame size, a healthy weight for 5,8" is 122-164

    I'm 5'9 - highest weight 260, current weight 221 and goal weight is 190. I *think* my goal weight is really just an idea in my head. I don't remember being under 200 (maybe in HS?? now in my 30s) so we'll see when I get there. Definitely noticeable in my face and to my friends. Just going to keep eating well, running and staying positive!

  • Used to be not quite 5'9 (lost a couple inched to injury)
    HW: 275-ish (avoided scales)
    CW: 265 (ill and injured and frustrated)
    LW: 150 (way too thin; no periods, no breasts, ribs all visible; fainted a lot; sank in salt water; size 10)
    GW: 170 (might be a little low, but that's my compromise between health & appearance; may not be achievable anyway; at that weight, I am a size 12)

    I'm 5' 8" and have a large frame. At my heaviest, I was 247. Currently, I'm 215.8, and my goal is 165. A couple of years ago, I had gotten down to 180, and at that point I was a size 12. Once I get to 165, I'll decide whether that is a good weight for me or if I want to lose a bit more. I don't really care about the number, but I want to get my body fat% down to the low 20s for sure, and ideally it'd be between 18% and 20%.
