Hi, I am new, can't wait to get started. My favorite sister is here for Thanksgiving and she got me started. I think it will fun.

    Good luck with Thanksgiving, but you will do just fine after that...
    Track everything and be brutally honest with yourself and you will lose weight!

    Hi and welcome...I'm still trying to get my sister to join....tell me how your sister got you to join. My sister needs to lose ~ 100lbs and she's made a little progress in the last 6 months but here sugar levels are still too high....would like to get her on here so I can help motivate her more.

    Remember, Thanksgiving is just one day...try not to over do it, but keep the day in perspective; it's just one day. Whatever you do tomorrow, get right back on track on Friday. Oh and a lovely walk after a big meal is very good for the digestion. :wink: That's actually, my favorite memory of Thanksgiving from growing up. Eat, clean, then the mom's and some of us kids would all take a long walk...it was a lot of fun!!!

    She has to want to lose weight to do so... Invite her on to help you track/monitor your weight loss... That's what a friend and my two sisters did with me and now I've lost more than the three of them combined.
  • Hello this is my first day and I need a little help with storing food that bought but have not eaten. I need a pantry to put them in so when I am on the run with my four kids I can use my I phone to log that i ate the snack. Any suggestions?

    If you don't have a smart phone then write down what you have eaten on a three by five card... I find it good to plan out my entire day in advance so it doesn't matter what I do while away from the computer...
