...who, when the sushi guy gives me more than the usual amount of wasabi, considers it a personal challenge to eat all of it?
Yes. Yes you are.0 -
Is it weird I'm terrified to try Sushi?

I should send you a FR...(that you would obviously accept because I'm so awesome)...and then delete you as a friend for that kind of talk.
Well played, good sir.
Well played.

Yes, I take it as a personal challenge!! Love sushi.0 -
I had a bad experience with wasabi! I didn't know it was hot and put a dollop on my sushi and proceeded to put the whole thing in my mouth. I couldn't talk, or breath, and my head was on fire! Since then I've been afraid to try it again.0

I eat wasabi with everything. I even sprinkle the wasabi powder in broth. So good!0

Leaving wasabi is an unofficial sin and one I will not tolerate in myself.0
-

Yes. Yes you are.
There's no such thing as a wrong opinion.
Guess I can now mark that off my list of absolute truths.0 -
...who, when the sushi guy gives me more than the usual amount of wasabi, considers it a personal challenge to eat all of it?
If necessary, I take it home and use it as toothpaste. I WILL use it all. But that crappy pink stuff...dead to me.0 -

To paraphrase, I believe she just said...
"Oh no you di'n't!"
And she may or may not have snapped her fingers over her head when she said it.0 -

Sushi = bait
It belongs on the end of a hook catching bigger fish to cook up :bigsmile:0 -

Sorry, Sushi causes diabetes. Especially if you eat it after 8PM. But not if you eat it with Sensa.
this made me laugh...0 -

Amen....I dont like fish and raw fish is just bait with a fancy-schmancy name. But I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE wasabi. I put in in deviled eggs, in chicken salad, on steak, etc, etc, etc.0 -
I ate so much last time I nearly puked it back up. I think I finally found my threshold. It typically just brings tears to my eyes... but this was quite another kind of experience. I've finished the entire amount before... but that could be because I was given smaller amounts, who knows.0

suddenly I'm craving for sushi.
sometimes wasabi is too mild for my taste so I can't get enough of it. It's a challenge when it burns both my brain and eyes but it's impossible to finish a spoonful of it.0 -

Why not try a chicken one?0 -
Wasabi is my hangover cure.0
