I didn't. Just enjoy the day with family. I can't wait for Christmas because I have decided I get a reward that week...if I lose 10 lbs by then.

Yay!! My sister and I are the designated chefs for the day, so tracking will be easy. Have already started logging my anticipated plate.

    Logging something - yes.

    Specifics, not sure yet.

Of course setting up a Holiday meal for 3500 sounds like a good plan too. I hadn't thought of that...it may just be the ticket.

tried to last year. Its futile.

I quick added 8000 calories. That should cover lunch. ;)

Yes! I actually added up all I ate for lunch and it was just over 2,000 Calories so I was pleasantly surprised.

Yay- tracked it all last night. Of course I've already had to make some tweaks for the day, but it feels good to look at the big picture ahead of time.

Yep, I'm still tracking! I have been eating under my allowance every day this week, so I can afford to eat a little of everything today.

Yes! I'm the one who is cooking, so I know what's going into everything. There are items I won't be eating, which will make it easier.

I attempted to. Whether I logged everything correctly is anyone's guess. It's surprising to see how many calories a Thanksgiving meal is :I

Yay. At least the best I can. Trying to figure the calories might prove to be hard, though.
  • Since I was making all the food I built the recipes the night before and put my meal into my diary ahead of time that way I knew what I was looking at I managed to stay within my calories and enjoy a wonderful meal with my family

NOPE! I'm gonna eat like I WANT to weigh 500 lbs today. YAY!!!
  • Yup! I already logged breakfast and lunch. I portioned both smaller than usual as I know Thanksgiving dinner will be a big hit. We are going to my aunts, she does all the cooking (tradition, she invites all 30 family members each year).. It usually is buffet style, so I can "choose" what I eat and try to not have it that bad. And besides, you can eat it all, just in moderation...

I HOPE I can stay within my daily calorie intake goal, however, not sure if I'll make it (so yummieees!!). But I'll definitely hit the gym tonight :D
  • Logged everything so far today and am still under goal by about 400. Should be interesting to see what I do for dinner.

This makes me sad. Just forget it and enjoy it. One day won't put you back at the beginning. I sure as hell won't be counting Xmas day! Lol. X

I pre-logged my dinner, it's 953 calories assuming that I only eat one serving of each dish (let's be serious, ain't gonna happen lol). Another problem is I like turkey leg meat or any of the dark pieces and even though I know it's more calories and fat than white meat, I love it. Siiiigh. Oh well. I went on one walk this morning and I'll go on another one later today to burn some of this off, but if I go over my daily allotment of calories, oh friggin well.
