Started making my Christmas list (my parents always ask what I'd like) and quite a few things on my list are health-related, so I thought I'd ask... What do you want for Christmas that is health/fitness related?

On my list:

- Newton running sneakers
- Garden of Life Meal Replacement Powder
- probiotic capsules
- clip-in shoes for cycling/spinning and new pedals for my bike

My left lung to be less sore (I have exercise induced asthma but gave up my inhalers 3 years ago as they made it all way worse for me and my immune system)...that is all I can think of as I have everything I need in most areas including health and fitness...

I bought myself a George Foreman grill as an early gift yesterday. It was an 8 person serving sized one for 29 bucks! :D

My mom said she's going to buy me a laptop since my computer I've had since junior year of HS FINALLY died! It's health-related seeing as I can log stuff on my MFP and research other health-related resources when I'm not at work. lol
  • I'm asking for a kitchen scale so I know how much 1 oz. of cheese really is!

Stuff that no one in my life can afford to get for me, including me:

    Vitamix Blender
    Home resistance training machines
My very own indoor swimming pool

(I'm just kidding. I wouldn't ask anyone for any of those things.)

A bicycle trainer so I can ride indoors when the weather gets bad. (It's a triangle-shaped thing that raises the rear wheel a little so you can ride in place).

    A RoadID shoe tag.

I was thinking of getting some of those "perfect pushup" things but since my collar bone joint (sternoclavicular joint) is acting up, I might hold off on that. Right now, pushups HURT.

    :)

I asked for more cooler/cold weather running gear (jackets, long sleeved tops, pants etc).

Would love running shoes - but they are a bit pricey for a gift.

    -Road bike.
-I would love a rack of dumbbells up to about 110 lbs.
-Olympic barbell and weights for deadlifts, squats, and bench presses, and those kinds of workouts.
    -Squat rack
-A bench for presses, and other things.
-Blender for my smoothies. No offesnse, but my Hamilton Beach sucks.
    -Some new workout clothes.

But, sadly, it's just me, so it aint gonna happen. No one is gonna buy me jack *kitten*.

I've been thinking that I might buy myself a new guitar. That will make me happy in my non-workout moments.

I would love a personal trainer too ... but with two kids in University that won't be happening for a while. I would like a HRM and Running Clothes for cold winter days.

I've gotten most of the health related things I wanted in past years but someday I'd like a vitamix and this year I asked for a mandolin (you know one of those board things with a blade that can thinly slice food in a variety of ways) I guess I'm at the point where I only really need things for the kitchen so I can continue to expand my healthy cooking skill.

Although I'd like a weighted vest, and I would love gift certificates for sports stores so I can buy new runners and stuff.

I would love my LCL year to heal faster. That would be better than anything anyone could ever buy me. Sigh.

Realistically, I've asked for cold weather workout clothing for when I can return to my early morning workouts.

No way but what I would love is an Endless Pool so I can swim at home. A little less costly but still out of range: the Brookstone Zero Gravity Chair to stretch out my back. Still too much: personal trainer. Totally doable: 6 pairs of Smart Wool socks.

I've asked for new electronic bathroom scales to weigh myself on. My old fashioned scales are cheap and I'm not convinced they are very accurate!
