Weather effcting your diet?

Is it just me or when the weather turns cold and miserble outside, it makes it really hard to stick to your diet and i neve know what to have for dinner! I want that warm comforting food i would have used to have had a year ago and find it had to find good substitutes. Eating in the summer is so much easier! LOL :)

That sounds so familiar... when its cold outside I want hot chocolate! xD
  • I can't say that it has effected my diet. Though, on rainy days, I never feel like doing any exercise.

In the summer we have all those fresh fruits and veggies available and that makes it easier for me to make healthier food choices. In the winter the stuff in the stores just don't taste as good and I don't buy them. I turned to my favorite mac and cheese yesterday. I do understand you. Please feel free to add me.

I'm not really feeling the diet problems yet (with the exception of Christmas parties starting ALREADY), but it does make me less motivated to spend even a few minutes outside to travel to the gym or leave the house at all if I don't have to. In the nice weather I absolutely love to go for hikes and whatnot which is definitely not happening in the winter. Dog's walks also get shorter :P

There are a lot of organic brands that are 110 calories per packet (and that contain NO soy, which I happen to be allergic to) that are pretty delicious as a mid-afternoon snack/ pick me up at the office or at home. Super easy too because all it requires is hot water. It's a decadent treat that isn't going to ruin your diet.

Ha! I was about to post about this. I am starting to feel the impact of winter this year. I am finding it harder to eat salads for lunch in colder weather, but I'm learning how to make healthy soups.

I believe it's our bodies wanting to do like the bears and go into hybernation. Or is it eating more to get ready to go into hybernation..
Hybernation won't happen so we need to get with it. LOL.

YEs for sure diet and exercise. In the summer I love to be outside walking running swimming. Eating healthy fruits and veggies from the garden. Its dark when I get up now dark when I go home. Cold outside. I just want to stay inside and do nothing. Fruits and veggies and not as fresh or appealing because of all of the wonderful yummy holdiday treats! SPRING I NEED YOU TO COME !
