My family has long been addicted to the Mc Cormick version, so I decided to make my own and cut down on the salt, and add some healthier aspects.
This make 30 servings of 1/2 teaspoon, but we usually use two each :-P
1/2 T sesame seeds
2 t paprika
1/2 t salt
1 t chia seeds
1 t celery seeds or 1/2 t ground celery seeds
3/4 t garlic powder
1/8 t black pepper
ground cayanne, 3 dashes for us
2 T grated romano cheese
15 grams Kal nutritional yeast
7 grams flax seeds, ground
per serving 7 calories, 1g carb, 0 fat, 1 protein and so yummy!
we use it on pasta, in salads, and even mixed with a little yogurt as a sandwich spread!
