I found this recipe (it's actually a video) at foodnetwork.com

It's super simple and really good! 1/3 cup of walnuts contains 100% of your daily recommended Omega-3 fatty acids.

Ingredients:
2 cups walnut halves
1/3 cup maple syrup (you could use less)
dash of salt

Directions:
Add walnuts to a large pan.
Drizzle maple syrup over walnuts.
Stir together over medium heat.
Add a dash of salt.
Continue stirring for about 3 minutes - until the walnuts are toasted and the syrup caramelizes.
Remove from heat and place on a plate to cool.
Divide into 1/3 cup portions and place in baggies for a quick snack you can take with you.

Here's a link to the video if you're interested: http://www.foodnetwork.com/videos/maple-glazed-walnuts/17706.html

Calories would depend on the syrup you use, but the info for Planters Walnut Halves is:
