My first 100 Days

I'm so grateful to the people who pointed me to the myfitnesspal site! For whatever the reasons it has really helped me in my quest to get to a healthy weight and lifestyle. Thank you guys so much for your stories, before and after pictures, and advice. For me the things that I've learned over the last 100 days that have worked for me are:
1- Log in every day
2- I weigh myself every day (my personal preference).
3- If the calculator says that I need to eat 1300 calories to reach my goal, eat the 1300 calories. Starving yourself just sets you back.
4- I eat something about every three hours throughout the day. I'm never ever really feel hungry (starving).
5- Exercise every day (if only walking for 15 minutes). Every little bit helps.
6- I don't stress out about not eating the added calories after exercise. I typically eat the added calories to get to my net recommended number and I still lose weight (see #3 above).
7- I have a pretty set routine of two to three meals that I eat all the time for breakfast and lunch. I like the routine and haven’t gotten bored with this so far. For dinner I typically fix a salad and eat whatever else I have on hand to get to my recommended Net calorie number. I’ve also gotten over not worrying about not eating things such as carbs late in the day. I just eat to the recommended number and have still lost weight.
Again thank you all for being there and being so helpful. I’m sharing my list for whatever its worth. It has worked for me so far and I enjoy this site because people like to share their stories.
