Check this out, guys! This stuff really works!!! I've been working out and counting calories since the last week of December and have been on here for about a month. I've lost 15 lbs total but today I really saw the benefit and pay off for all my hard work!!! Last month I had a fitness assessment with one of the personal trainers at my gym and these were my numbers:

Body fat: 32.3%
Chest: 40 1/2"
Waist: 34 1/2"
Abs: 39"
Hips: 45 1/2"
Thighs: R 26 1/2"
L 27
Calves: 15 1/2" each
Arms: R 14"
L 13 1/2"

And .... today!!!:

Body fat: 30.5%
Chest: 39"
Waist: 33"
Abs: 38 1/2"
Hips: no change
Thighs: 25" each (1 1/2" change on the right, 2" change on the left!!)
Calves: R 15 1/2"
L 16 (it got bigger! She thinks I land heavy on my left side, which is my dominant side...makes sense.)
Arms: 13" each (1" difference on R, 1/2" on left)

So overall...I've lost half an inch to an inch everywhere. I'm so excited! And the place I've had the most dramatic change...my thighs...which I thought were NOT budging! This is so exciting!!

Great job!! I've been keeping track of my inches once a month at home. I've lost up to 2 inches all over too. Way to go, you are doing great!! Keep up the good work. I wish I had a way to measure my body fat too.

I strongly encourage ALL of you to get a measuring tape and keep track if you're not. I've only lost a pound a week since I got on here, save for one week I didn't lose...which I didn't think was much...and I was getting SUPER discouraged. I even thought I wasn't seeing results in my thighs and talked to two fitness instructors (separately) at my gym and they told me different things...then talked to my fitness instructor and she told me something different and now I think if I just take all their advice, I'll keep seeing results because obviously it IS working. The one place I was worried about, I had the most dramatic change!! This is great. :)

Definitely keep track, ladies, if you're getting frustrated. And for those wondering about the thighs... high reps, low weights. I'm on about 20 lbs per machine and my trainer had me doing 2 sets of 20 reps last month and this month I'm supposed to do 3 sets of 25. One of the fitness instructors told me for the stair master/elliptical, instead of high resistance, do lower resistance, but go faster and this is more cardio instead of weight along with cardio. I'm looking forward to more results!!!

    use this site for help
    http://www.gain-weight-muscle-fast.com/body-tape-measurements.html

    Buy a soft tape measure

Start by wearing tight fitting clothing (or no clothing) and make a note of what you're wearing so you know to wear the same clothes the next time you measure. Here's how to do it:

    * Bust: Measure around the chest right at the nipple line, but don't pull the tape too tight.
    * Chest: Measure just under your bust
    * Waist: Measure a half-inch above your belly button or at the smallest part of your waist
    * Hips: Place tape measure around the biggest part of your hips
    * Thighs: Measure around the biggest part of each thigh
    * Calves: Measure around the largest part of each calf
    * Upper arm: Measure around the largest part of each arm above the elbow
    * Forearm: Measure around the largest part of the arm below the elbow.

Take them once a month to see if you're losing inches.

    Congratulations!!!

I measured myself when i started my diet and exercise plan - if I make my 1stone (14lbs) target on Wed I'll measure myself again. I know i've lost inches tho, my trousers are getting loose!!
  • Woo Hoo! It's great that you are loosing inches. Thanks for sharing your fitness routine you use at the gym too so we can all learn more. I've lost a half inch around my waist and hips in two weeks. I'll measure again next week.
