Ok
so hopefully i dont get kicked out for saying this, but it seems to me that while it is a good idea to stay away from fast food as a whole, i have noticed that there may be some ok items that wont kill your plan.
you are encouraged to post your foods that u eat from fast food restaurants that wont destroy your plan
ill start:
1. Doritos locos taco

-
mcdonalds breakfast - egg mcmuffin, lunch - grilled chicken southwest salad
subway chopped turkey salad0 -
McDonald's grilled ranch chicken snack wrap.
Wendy's Grilled Caesar snack wrap
Subway oven roasted chicken on flat bread with lettuce, tomato, green peppers and red wine vinaigrette dressing.0 -
I love any of the Fresco options at taco bell- and I always order it with water or ice tea. However, I have to admit, I usually have a single bite of whatever ooey-gooey thing my husband has.0

Naked chicken strips from Popeye's.0

-

I was wondering how soon will someone jump in and start hating on the subject. It was pretty soon.0

no fast food is going to totally derail your diet if you adjust your meals accordingly for that day.........
but lol @ thinking Taco Bell is better than any other fast food. A fried corn tortilla shell, cheap beef, and cheese isn't any better than a white bun, a burger patty and a slice of cheese.0 -
If I am going to say "cheat" I am going straight for fried dough!! LOL I will however share this time though haha - Taco Bell ehh not so worth it!!
Going out to eat we do weekly and watching my calories has not stopped that
Subway - chopped salad with honey mustard dress, turkey 6 inch or veggie delight
Unos - they have a below 500 section last time though i got their BBQ salmon
Applebess - also under 500 section - i vary on my selection but fave was always bourbon chicken n shrimp (not under 500 sadly)
I avoid Mcdonalds & never liked wendys
Local pizza place - I always get their grilled chicken OR steak tip salad (diet or no diet)
Local sub shop - small veggie sub NO cheese (also diet or no diet - only thing I have ever gotten there )0 -
I haven't eaten a Mcdonalds hamburger in over 5-6 years now. I do eat Wendys maybe once a year, just enough to remind me how bad it is. Taco bell-same, Burger king-maybe once in 2 years. Most of my fast food tends to be 5 guys(once in a very great while), subway, and local type restaurants or food trucks. Most of the time I have felt so horrible after I ate fast food I learn my lesson until I forget again..
I do miss the bacon sundae at burger king though....haha0 -
bump for later0
-
I love taco bell because their beans are vegetarian so when I want to mess up my normally low carb diet I get a bean burritto.0
-
Subway: Whole wheat bread, turkey, green salad, tomatoes & lettuce. Yogurt dressing if you're willing to ignore sugar. No cheese.0
-
Something with some kinda meat +bacon.... I don't really care if it has a bun or not... If I eat out, I'm going to enjoy it.
Cici's is evil though... I go about 1200+ each time I eat there, but I balance it.0 -

Taco Bell is one of the few fast food places that I will actually eat. Most of them, like McD's and BK, make me sick to my stomach after eating it. I'll take a homemade burger any day.0
-
I just ate taco bell for the first time since college.. 3 crispy tacos and a diet pepsi. Satisfied my craving and I think I'm good for awhile.
Other then that, I don't really eat much fast food. Subway is gross but tolerable when really hungry, McDonalds/Burger KIng/Wendy's, only eat when I have a craving for it.0 -
My fast food go to:
Subway oven roasted chicken on wheat bread with lettuce, cucumber, green pepper, onion and light mayonnaise.
Burger King grilled chicken sandwich (half bun) and apple slices.0 -
I usually stick with Subway and then work my calories around it.0
