PJ Sparkles - When you gave her a hug she lit up with love. This should have clued my parents in that I probably needed more affection.

    I wanted a lightsaber sooooo bad but santa(mom) apperantly felt that girls shouldnt have them cause I put that thing on my list for like 5 yr and no love..... Both my kids are getting one this year my son and daughter

    Yes!!! Santa never brought me a power wheels either. I wanted it so much that I was telling my mom this just last week (and I'm 26) :cry: :sad:

    WhenI was a kid, I wrote a letter to Santa and told him I wanted Rock'em Sock 'em Robots. Never came.

    I told my Daughter, Holland, about it a few years ago.

    3 or 4 years ago, Santa brought them to me.

    About 47 years late, but .....

    I cant honestly ever remembering not getting something I asked for. I think maybe I was spoiled. And I guess that spilled over into adulthood, cause my kids always got what they asked for too. <cringe>

    Christmas time was really the only time my mom would go out of the way. (we were really poor) But I don't remember actually not getting something I wanted. I remember when Nsync came out with their No Strings Attached dolls and oMg I needed the Justin one. I about cried when I got it...not from excitement but those things were like the ugliest things I had ever seen.

    embarrassing...but i always wanted a ventriloquist dummy...it was like $120 in the jcpenney christmas catalogue. thankfully my parents were smart enough not to buy it.

    now, i detest jeff dunham. perhaps it's leftover childhood bitterness.
