I started doing Insanity and about 2 weeks in I got sick with bronchitis and walking pneumonia and on top of that I got a cold.
I've been sick for about 2 and a half weeks now and I can't wait until I get better so I can work out again.
Now the question is.. when I start Insanity again, should I start from where I was or just start the whole thing over again?

:( I HATE BEING SICK!

just in case you didnt see lol:

    recommend you just start over.

I'm doing and insanity/asylum hybrid. It's.... difficult lol. i didn't really look at the scheduel before i started. I figured it would be asylum dvds one day, insanity dvds another... but some days he wants you to do one of each, or two asylum dvds.

trying to fit in some gym lifting time with that and its a lot lol.

if you started over, you would probably be that much more ready for month two, but its honestly up to you.

In my opinion... you should start over from the beginning... since it has been such a break from it... sorry about being sick... I know how much that sucks... anything that keeps you from working out sucks.... good luck with it... you will kick *kitten* even harder when you get better... I know it...

Ugh, I figured I should just start over :( Who knows when I'll actually get better either (I'm still sick and hating life) But yes, anything that keeps me from working out and reaching my goal sucks royally.

The body starts to decondition after 2 weeks full rest . Also respiratory illness robs the body of muscle mass speeding deconditioning. So start over at the begining, if you don't your going toget some serious delayed on set muscle soreness and could throw yourself into a relapse of your respiratory illness due to muscle edema from exercise.
