The beginning......
Someone told me about 30DS, I looked it up online and saw a lot of good reviews and bought it. I always knew I needed to change and lose weight to feel better about myself and to be honest, life in general. I never stuck with it and kept pushing. I never gave 100% or even 50% until 2/16/12. Something clicked and I was determined to complete 30DS. I told myself its 30 days...Mind over matter. Seeing the number on the scale decreasing kept me going! Over time I learned more and more about eating right and fitness thanks to this wonderful site/app. I seriously don't think I could have done this without MFP!!!
What I did:
Throughout my journey I have really mixed it up. 30 Day Shred, lots of walking (I was a car hop at Sonic which was a great bonus! ), weight lifting, jogging, Zumba. I was always changing it up. I am so glad I started running! I can now jog 5.5 miles and it is the one workout I really look forward to!
I am 5'9"
HW when pregnant: 278
HW after birth: 257
MFP starting weight: 243
CW: 170.0
GW: 170
UGW: 160
Right now my plan is to reach 165 and maintain 165-170.
I am currently doing 6 week 6 pack and I finish week 3 tomorrow!
Here are some pictures!!!!
250ish lbs. 1 month after having my baby boy. May 2012
Friends wedding in May 2012
225 lbs. Pre-pregnancy weight! This was taken on my sons 1st birthday 4/12/12
185 lbs
173 lbs. Taken last week before family pictures!
All my hard work has totally been worth it! Also, a big thanks to all my MFP friends! Thanks for all the support along the way. You all rock!!!!

You really have done it and proven to yourself you can do it now and always.. I give you kudos! You look great!
I really find MFP to be a big big help in maintaining. I just started my maintenance quest 3 wks ago and I am doing it, for the first time, thanks to MFP. Gaining? no problem, very easy to do. Losing? Again, no problem, mind over matter.. maintaining? HARD! That is the key.
But the biggest thing here, with you? You have proven to yourself you can accomplish both steps 1 + 2.. so now all you have to master is step 3! Welcome to my boat! Let's ROW!0 -
