A diet where you have to purchase products and drink meal replacement shakes usually doesn't result in long lasting weight loss.

You need to find something you can do forever not something you stop once you lose the weight you want to lose.

It is a shake diet pretty much from what I have seen about it.

There don't seem to be any reviews or information from any independant sources other than their main website. I tend to be hestitiate on how good something is if the only testimonials are only located on the products website.

None of the claims the company makes have been evaluated as of yet.

well I have googled and still none the wiser as to what this is apart from lots of reviews that don't actually tell you what it involves.

It's high protein high fiber low carb. They claim most people can cut down or eliminate medication once they're on the diet. I have type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and triglycerides so anything that can cut out some medication sounds good to me. The shakes aren't very good but I hope I get used to them. For the first 12 weeks I drink three shakes a day, have one meal of meat and veggies. I'll let you know if I survive.

Good luck with it however I wouldn't put much claim into what the company claims. NOthing has been evaluated and there is no reviews that aren't on the company website.

One week down on Wio. My glucose was 100 points lower than it was a week ago. I lost 6 pounds but it's been, well, hell. I crave bread, potatoes, rice, ice cream. OK, I know those are things a diabetic shouldn't be eating anyway. Last night I lowered my insulin to 50 units/day instead of 60. We'll try that for a week and see if I can still be around 120 in the mornings.

It's not a fun time of year to try to change your whole eating habit. Today my boss made pancakes with homemade coconut syrup for our staff meeting. Dang it. It smelled good while I ate my celery and string cheese.

You do realize you can do this without the expensive shakes right? Just eat lean whole meats, poultry and fish, along with fruits and veggies. But if you are active as your diary says you are, eating 1200 calories is just not going to cut it. It will just increase the chances of catabolizing your lean body mass and make it a lot easier to gain weight back.
