You could try silicone reusable nipple covers.

Electrical tape. And avoid cotton. Body glide is excellent.

Avoid cotton shirts and get some dry fit ones. Buy some body glide and ditto on the band aids.
Never fails...every time I see what word I think something else.

    Good luck with your nipples.

One of the few times when a bra isn't annoying. I hear that from a lot of my guy runner friends, though. Try bandaids to prevent chafing.

I've not experienced any chafing yet.

Because you wear a bra, he doesn't.

There are other places that chafe :) But, you are correct...

    Body Glide works there also.

Seriously - Body Glide! Works everywhere is also great for long hikes.

Yep been their! The best thing to do is express a little bit of milk and rub the milk around your nipple after every feeding. They also have lanolin, but breastmilk worked best for me and its what my breastfeeding counselor adviced! If you ever need help with breastfeeding concerns, call the la leche league breastfeeding hotline, they can even direct you to a lactation.consultant in your area! I breast fed exclusively for a year plus.

I had that happen to me, I had these red streaks on my tshirt from the blood mixing with sweat and was a bit freaked out when I realized it was from my nipples. Went away after a few weeks, I made sure i wore looser tshirts when i was doing cardio and that helped a lot too.

Thanks for all the insight. Didn't expect this to be such a big thing.

Maybe a man sports bra will be a thing some day. A mansierre/bro.

Nip guards. They look like little stop signs. But they work really well.

I always thought these things were funny, till my long runs started getting into the double digits.

Band aids are okay but tend to fall off. And only at the worst times.

Fortunately for females we can wear bras and such.

doesn't always work for women though. I've worn a sports bra while running but had the same problem.

I'm hoping the OP doesn't start rubbing breast milk on his nipples after runs . . . but then again, to each his own . . .

The only that has worked for me all the time is compression shirts under tech shirts. Wear compression shorts/tights also for chaffing in other places. Tossed away a few shirts before figuring it out.
