Hey I am Mary.
I have been sick and tired of hearing my friends say Oh My God I am SO fat. Hello, you are what a size two. I drives me nuts. I am 18 years old and want to change before I go off to college in the fall. I really hope this website works it seems interesting to me already. I never realized what I was really eating before until this. I guess if anyone reads this is if their is any websites that you know of to find recipes that i can use at college with a limited budget and using the food that is offered at the cafateria. I really would like to lose a freshman 15 insted of getting the freshman 15.

Please, don't take offense... but it sounds like you need different friends! OMG! LOL... :laugh: Not everyone is meant to be a size 1 or 2... or a even a 5... so this is the site that can help you become healthy - no matter what size that may be... Good for you!!!! Welcome...this is a great site to get encouragement and ideas. But you do have to log your food honestly and try to get some exercise in...You will be so happy with yourself if you start watching your weight before you get to college. Way to go!0

Hello! Welcome!! This is a very good place to start. This website is a wonderful way to actually see what you are putting into your body. When I first started I didn't realize the amount of calories or fat I was eating until I started logging everything I ate and drank. OMG it was awful. Then I started to add exercise to my "healthy" me plan. Now I've also started to add weight training and the pounds seem to just be flying away. It's amazing what you learn about yourself once you start monitoring things. I wish all the luck on your new Journey!!0

Hey welcome to the best site out here in internet land. You can do anything that you set your mind too, and don't worry about your friends and what they are saying about themselves whether they are a size 2 or just fishing for compliments which that's what it sounds like to me, but what ever it's all about you from here on out, do what you need to do for you. As mentioned before be honest with your logging of your food and try to get in as much exercise as you can, don't get discourage when the weight does not come off as fast or when it seem to be coming off too slow, just hang on in there and you will surely reap the reward. Oh yea good luck with college too!! Your plate will be full but remember it's all about portion control. Good luck with it all and I wish the best for you and I am here to support you if you need me.0
