I was shocked

So today was the day. The first weigh in and measurement day since I started with my personal trainer. I was kind of scared to see the results. I started to weigh myself yesterday and saw the scale go in the wrong direction but I told myself that it was just residule from TOM. I was correct. I didn't loose anything from last week but a total of 9.5 lbs since I started just over a month ago what shocked me was I lost almost 10 inches with 4.75 of it being from my waist alone :noway: . I actually did a happy dance in the measurement room. I knew I was wearing a belt so my low rise jeans weren't falling a little too low :blushing: but I had no idea. So what they say is true the scale does not give the whole story need to check your measurements too.

Fantastic. Well done, it is so worth the effort.
  • You've inspired me to measure too as I haven't seen my scales move much recently, lets hope for a few inches instead. Well one and keep it up. x

I'm the same size I was in my 20s and early 30s but I weigh 10 pounds more. I've also never worked out like this. I'm finding muscles I never knew I had. I just have to let go of what I think I should weigh and feel good that things are getting firmed up. A tape measure is a much more accurate indicator that what you're doing is working.
