i'm hoping to finish this year out with :

125 pound BB rows and bench press
    215 pound deadlift
100 push ups in 1 workout

and comfortably getting into my smallest pair of pants in my closet which as a size 10. i can get them on now, but i have scary muffin top and any movements might mean a split on the butt

I want the scales to start heading south again. I've been plateaued for what feels like forever.

I've started 30 day shred (day 2 tomorrow), have a personal trainer 2 days a week, hit the gym another 2 days and play wheelchair basketball. I do more exercise now than I ever have.

I'm getting married next August and want to feel pretty on the day.

My goal is to complete the 30 day shred. I did day 1 today so that puts me in a good start. I would like to see weight loss but I am completely sure how much I want to loose yet.

well i am NOT going to let the December / January festive season bring me undone, I am determined to stick to my plans and stay focused no matter what , social events and special times of the year are no longer and excuse to eat eat eat and drink drink drink NO.....i am on a life style change mission, and Nothing tastes as good as slim and healthy feels. I can still enjoy the Christmas festivities and choose healthy options and really enjoy the people rather than the food.
  • To be down a total of 75 lbs by the end of dec

to be 179 by Christmas. That would mean I lost a total of 60 lbs! And I'm ~187 now, so... 8 more lbs. X_X

I started on MFP a couple of days after Christmas 2011 at 98 kgs (216 lbs) - I would like to be 68 kgs (149 lbs) - that would be a total of 30 kgs (66 lbs) gone but I don't know if I will get there! Just keepin' on keepin' on till I do

It is the silly season coming up but we can still make better choices and not go overboard :-) And all that running around getting ready for Christmas, cleaning, shopping, that should burn a few calories!

Might give myself a Christmas present of a membership of our local swimming pool!

    To lose 3kg.
    Drink more water everyday.
Get 8+ hrs sleep every night.
    Think before I eat.

And this one is hard for me but I will push myself mentally to stay on/below my calorie goal for 4 weeks straight
Without overeating on a single day.

Last but not least.. Enjoying my life and the beautifull December snow.
  • Not to put on too much weight!
At least maintain my weight but I don't think I will scoff much haha.

Hope to increase my strength and start doing free weights. :)

To turn 47 in the middle of the month and begin my year of badassery.

To increase the weights I'm lifting by 5 pounds per session so that'd make it 115 by the end of the month (hey, I just started)

Hmmm, gain even more strength, am doing the slow but sure approach and it seems to be working. I would like to have some running mileage under my belt by January, this weather is lovely for running. (have just ordered some new layers, new shoes) I would like to lose some more fat also, at least go down another percent. Oh and get better at boxing (did my first half hour yesterday morning, after a few years' break from it, gosh my hands, my shoulders and ribcage are hurting today!) Finally, another month of trigger, spiral and non eating disordered thinking done and dusted. Whoop! Bring on 2013...

Just to hold on to the weight loss I had through the year. Not really planning to start loosing again till next year,
  • 1) Not to weigh in the entire month.
    2) Start and do the majority of the 30 Day Shred.
    3) Not nap the entire month.

    1) Get at least 7 hours of sleep each night.
    2) Wake early to exercise, instead of exercising at night.
    3) Lose 4 pounds.
    4) Finish C25k.
    5) Drink 100 oz of water each day.

It's all about maintaining and continuing p90x for me

    1. Stick to the p90x lifting days
    2. Maintain my running about 10 miles a week
    3. Maintain current weight through all the cookie temptations.

    - Get into running again
    - Do more strength training e.g. squats
    - Log and meet my calorie goal everyday of the month including xmas dinner parties - with xmas DAY being the ONLY exception!
    - Avoid refined foods

    - And keep up my 6/7times a week workouts that I love doing :) As well as my ab work :)
