Starting 30-day shred level 1, how are the results?

Hi, I am starting Jillian Michaels level 1 after almost 2 months of not exercising. I'm beginning to feel I've piled on a few inches and I want to get back in shape.

How well does it work? Is it good for losing inches? I was told it works great if you do levels 1,2 and 3 for 10 days each. Is that true?
