Please add 2.5 miles for my lunch walk today.0

12/3: 4.25 miles on treadmill
12/4: 4.0 mile walk in park, then 3.75 on treadmill, 7.75 for the day!
I can only keep up a run for about 1.5 milesand walk the rest, but my walking pace has increased quite a bit and I am trying to extend my running time on the treadmill. I have hit the treadmill 15 out of the last 16 days, even on days when I went hiking or got other exercise.
Total so far for Dec.: 22.0

I tried a smartphone pedometer app that syncs with MFP on a trail that was marked out at 3.3 miles - and the app gave me less than half that! I went back to a simple pedometer, about 2,000 steps = 1 mile. I usually round down to be conservative, give myself a mile for more like 2,250 steps. I think there are some good apps out there, but maybe my phone isn't sensitive enough to motion or something. There are also some very good pedometers with heart rate monitor too.
