I really want to subscribe to on, but I'm not sure which one to get. I like Fitness Magazine, but I heard Shape is good too? What do you prefer?

If you are talking US titles Oxygen or Fitness Rx for Women. There is a lot of unscientific misinformation in the fluffy health magazines.

I like Bodyfit, like all kinds of magazines you can't take everything they say as gospel but I like it for new ideas for workouts and for the motivation it gives me when it hits the door mat everymonth. Health and Fitness magazine is ok too but I like Bodyfit better atm :)
  • I liked Fitness at first.

But, then I started noticing that it is mostly beauty advice. The workouts don't include any heavy lifting, if anything, it encourages women to lift light.

I've heard the same thing about the other magazines for women.

I get Shape, but only for entertainment because I got 3 years for $7. Fitness is okay, Oxygen is better.

I agree with Zest - nice balance of lifestyle, food/recipes and workout infor without being too preachy.
