Does anyone take anything besides a multiviatmin?

I've hear green tea extracts help speed up your metabolism.....

  • I swear by Metabolic Nutrtion's Supplements ! I use Protizyme Protein powders- taste great easy on the stomach - Only drawback is expensive !

Also use Synadrex by them and just started using TAG by them as well during my workouts ! All have really helped me

If you are taking a Multi, make sure it is a MultiVitamin and MultiMineral supplement.

I also take Vitamin D, Fish Oil and Calcium/Magnesium.

Check with your doctor and have blood tests done to see if you need anything other than a Multi-Vitamin/Mineral. You can get too much of some things. On the other hand, if you are on a reduced-calorie diet (like to lose weight) then it's hard to get your basic requirements without some supplementation.

Sometimes take triple strength fish body oils, standardised green tea extract, freeze dried probiotic, magnesium (I have health issues that may benefit from this). Green tea only boosts the metabolism very slightly, don't rely on that for weight management.

    Along with my multi...

Fish Oil, Vit D3, Vit C, L-arginine6&L-Ornithine, L-Lysise, Vit B6, Probiotic, Rhodiola and Ginseng.
I also take a teaspoon of raw local honey mixed with cinnamon.

As recommended by my naturopath I take a multi which is high is the b group, also d3, magnesium, zinc, fish oil and I have also started taking kelp. My doctor has also recommended the fish oil and vitamin D. I also take chaste berry which is good for balancing "female" issues, also recommended by my naturopath.

Protein powder is all. Every thing else I need I get from food.

If you eat a balanced diet, you shouldn't need any.
