Ok I know some of you may exercise at home, but do you think working out 6 days per week is pushing it? I have been taking a class that I absolutely LOVE and its available 6 out of the 7 days...think its over doing it???
Thanks for the help!!

4 day split. ~1hr each
In my opinion(not professional), 6 days is too much. Let your body rest.0 -
5 days a week; weight training all 5 days, one body part per day, 1-1.5 hrs per day
Weekends; light cardio, but I have a treadmill @ home0 -
Depends what it is, Cardio? go for it, if you feel OK and your energy levels are good. Strength training/lifting, then may need more rest days. I would do Zumba 7 days a week if I could:bigsmile:0

It depends on what kind of activity and intensity you are doing.
I go almost every day. Wouldn't recommend it - going to try and take rest days from now on.0 -

4 days0

I never go to a gym (I workout at home or outside), but I work out everyday. My workouts are mostly cardio-based for now though. If I were lifting, I would definitely rest the worked muscles.0
-
Nope. I workout 6 days. Weights.0

I'm one of those who have a place to work out at home (treadmill, elliptical, exercise bike and weights) and I try for 5-6 days a week. Be sure to listen to your body and know when to stop and when you have done to much and you should be fine. Be sure to rest at least one day and you should be fine.0

I try to take at least one complete day off..no weights or cardio... if I am lucky I get two, just depends on my schedule..0

I usually go to the gym 2 days a week, random days when the mood strikes. I have gym equipment at home that I can use, but a change of scenery is always nice....0

4-5 usually. Then I will do aerobic videos at home the other 2-3 days. Right now is crazy-hectic rehearsal/performance season so I have to pace myself and decided to do the 30 Day Shred at home. When I can, I supplement with cardio at the gym. I was trying to do MWF, but this week and next week there's just no possible way.0

Everyday : i have a squat rack in my room next to my bed  But honestly lift 3 days a week or 2 days off one day on sort of timing.0

i rest when i need it, with that being said i workout about 6 days a week but 4 days weight(2 days arms 2 days legs) i do cardio on those days too, on leg days i do intense hiit, on arm days i do distance, the other days i do either walking, distance running, or elliptical, just depends my mood and energy levels. i dont work so i have more time them most ppl and i hate just sitting on the couch~~~booooooo

This except light cardio if I have time normally 2 days after lifting0 -
Per the doctor's suggestion, 4-5 days with 45 minutes of physical activity.0

i am in the gym 7 days a week... 2 hours a day like clock work0
-
I go 6 days a week 10 workouts total0

I rest on Christmas Day. No, wait, I train in the morning and hope carb backloading is a valid theory.
I rest when I'm injured or sick.0 -
I go 6 days a week, but I don't do the same thing every day. I alternate cardio and resistance, I'm there 1-2 hours depending on what kind of workout I'm doing. Do what makes you feel good, but make sure you give your body a chance to rest0

I go 6 days a week. At the moment, I do three days of cardio and three days of strength training (w/ one of them being with my trainer).0

6 days a week for me. M-W-F lifting, Tu-Th-S cardio of some kind, rest on Sunday.0

5 days a week
30 min HIIT cardio after I hit the body parts I am training on a particular day0 -
Well, when I can even 5-6 days a week, this week I only went twice no time, and when I had time I was too tired0

You would be surprised how not tired you are after even a small workout. Thats what gets me to go!!
I do 5, I usually take off one day during the week (I work 8-5, not much time to do anything) and one weekend day. Unless it's really nice weather then I'll usually hit up a hike on an off day.0 -
I think 6 is fine if you eat enough (and well enough) to support your body. If you are hurting or exhausted, take a rest. Your body will tell you what to do.0

I hit up a bootcamp class monday, wednesday, and friday morning. Its mostly circuit training and is completely different every time I go. I also try and get out for a 30 min jog monday, wednesday, and friday nights after work. I have a little 20 min yoga video I can do at home ...as well as some ab videos I occasionally put on on the weekends.0

6 days a week for me. M-W-F lifting, Tu-Th-S cardio of some kind, rest on Sunday.
Pretty much this for me too. Although sometimes I lift if my boxing/kickboxing class is cancelled for some reason. Sometimes I also do some light lifting on Saturday, and if I'm really feeling ambitious, I'll head in on Sunday too. Basically whatever my body allows me to do, but I never do less than 5 days a week, unless I'm super sick. But, strangely enough, since I've been working out, lifting and eating right, I haven't been sick too much *knocks on wood*0 -
6 days, Sometimes 7,. Dr says I need 6 days and 1 hr of cardio. But i do 1 hr of strength and 1.30 of cardio.0

I go most days but mix the exercise. Spin classes are intense but fun, 3 classesa week. Body pump is lifting weights to music and slowly building up the weights ( 1kg each side at first wimp! but now upto 3.5 each side) this is a slower steady exercise also 3 times a week. I also do free weights at the gym and use the X trainer. I have a concept rower at home so use that. As long as I am alive I like to do something each day
Sunday I tend not to go to the gym but go for a long walk, weather permitting and I do like to go at a good pace. I am 65 and well aware that I need to keep fit so lots of classes at my pace. The classes are fun, great people , bit of chat as we go along I feel good at the end and I think this is the key thing enjoy the exercise you do.0
