Got my BF percentage today..Help?

I got my body fat percentage measured today. I reigned in at 47%. My goal is to be 18%. I'm putting this in this forum because I finally became brave enough to find out where I need to go from here. I've been dreading knowing my body fat percentage. But I finally know. My question is, what is the best way (and preferably" quicker way) to lose body fat? Lifting or cardio? Paired with a good diet, of course.

    Combo!! Cardio to lose the fat you have, weights to at least maintain the muscle you have.

    How did you get your bodyfat test done? I have a tanita scale that said I have 30 % LOL not I have also done the small hand held one in the gym that one said 26% , the most accurate one was the under water one and the bod pod they both had me @ 16%. So don't freak out yet! I do alot of 60 min Spin classes and h.i..i.t on the Stairmaster whatever makes you sweat your *kitten* of several times a week...:smile:

    @Model chick- It was some scale the YMCA hides unless you specifically ask to use it
