Can't see the after but I know my belly was a disaster zone after baby 1 then made slightly saggier by baby 2... I'm afraid what's gonna happen after baby 3 *sigh*. Oh well, I like the picture I've seen floating around that says something along the lines of "I'm a goddamn (pardon the language) tiger who's earned her stripes!!"

Yep! I have it too, although I wasn't perfect before pregnancy I never was covered in stretch marks and tummy wrinkles. But I am now, lol. I don't have any pre pregnancy pictures, they make me sad because I hated my body and never showed it off and I wish I could slap myself then. lol
Having a 9lb 9oz 22 inch long baby really did me in! haha you can check my pictures, I have a few post pregnancy shots in there. My son is almost 2 and a half now, and they are fading significantly. But since I had a cesarean, I probably won't get rid of the belly pooch. :grumble:

Happened to me too! My stretch marks have faded, but as I loose weight my skin around my pooch gets saggier. Battle scars I call them. It will get better with time, you just have to be patient!

    It WILL get better, promise.

For me personally, I'm back to my pre pregnancy weight (or at least really close) and my stomach skin is still much looser. I had my babies fairly late in life and baby #2 was over 9lbs, so I suppose my stomach, with the extra looseness, is about as good as I can hope for without a hip to hip scar from a tummy tuck. I'm fine with it ~ LOVE my kids ~ I can deal with a little loose skin and 1 C-Section scar. The stretch marks should fade over time - be sure to always use sunscreen on your belly if you're ever in the sun.

Yes. My stomach looked this bad. But, after time they became lighter in color and it's more of a texture thing. This has been my biggest self-esteem buster my whole life. I finally got the money for a tummy tuck - expecting to be able to cut it all off and be left with smooth, stretchmark-free skin (I would gladly trade one horizontal scar for several vertical ones - but because I'm so short waisted there is not enough skin to get my desired results.

So, I've had to learn to live with what I have. I still don't love it, but once I came to terms with knowing there was nothing I could do about it I changed my mindset to understand that these are scars just like any other scars on my body. Body builders don't freak out over the stretchmarks they get from growing huge biceps, etc. so, I am losing weight, and toning my body so that everything else looks good, and I look good in my clothes - and I buy one pieces that make the most of what I do have (remember Pam Anderson in Baywatch?)

It looks like this is from a rather recent pregnancy - so rest assured - it will look better over time. Get some Mederma for scars and put it on every day - this will definitely help. They will never go away completely. And I totally understand your feelings about them - but, you're in a lot of company. I had my first child at 19 - we are so vulnerable at that age to develop bad self-esteem based on what our bodies look like. A real man will love every single one of your stretchmarks sweetie. Easy to say, though not as easy to feel. I know. But, we are all here for you,
