Hey all,
I hear all the raves about this, so I've been taking it pretty regularly. I actually end up mixing mine with Diet Mtn Dew. LOL
Who else drinks it how do you take it?
I have 2 tblspoons at a time at least 1x a day, shoot for 2 but always forget.

I have gotten away from taking ACV regularly but keep meaning to start back. When I do take it, I generally just fill a shot glass halfway then top it off with water then just shoot it. If I'm taking it for nausea (it does work - at least for me) I mix it with some honey in a glass of water and sip on it.0

I heard it's bad for your teeth so I drink it through a straw otherwise I would just shoot it.0

sounds gross0

i usually add a little apple cider vinegar when i make crock pot pulled pork, but otherwise, it's not something i "take"0

Yep I just use it on salads in dressings and such0

I actually take the pills, couldn't stomach drinking it anymore0

I used to take it... back when I believed that nonsense that it helped you lose weight.0

Does it count as water?0

I am not daily with it, but it does help certain belly trouble immensly... When I take it, I mix with raw honey. Raw honey helps my allergies so it is a double benefit. Some folks mix half and half, it really just depends on your preference and how many calories/carbs you allow for it. You can also diltue with water to knock back the acidity.0

So I guess maybe this is one of those never ending fitness/health/nutrition topics where what used to be envoge and gospel is now completly wrong and no good for you???
It wasn't long ago I heard all the fitness people raving about ACV? plenty still do.. this is an article by Tosca Reno who'se pretty well respected, is this all wrong? http://toscareno.blogspot.com/2011/05/raw-apple-cider-and-ab-definition.html0 -

Is there a reason why? Doesn't sound to appealing.0 -

On French fries, I only consume apple cider vinegar in conjunction with the great French fry. (Or a nice pork butt)0

There are studies actually that suggest consumption of acetic acid does suppress fat accumulation [1], improves insulin sensitivity in diabetics [2], has measurable impact on animals [3], etc.
It's not so stupid as to merit mockery.

Dr. oz says to mix it with grape juice or OJ. I do both and it takes away the taste. I started taking it religiously 2 months ago only because it is proven to boost your immune system. I have caught the cold twice and have been able to completely kick it within one day. I swear by this stuff!!0

First I've heard of it. Can't bring myself to listen to anyone who advocates detoxes either.0 -

And another reason I'm not going to "take it" either.0 -

Since when is truth mockery? We've stated how we use vinegar, which happens to be in and on stuff. I recognize enough of the people on this post to know that we've (mostly) all seen the questions and inquiries regarding vinegar and the studie that basically state that, similar to eating hot peppers, it can have some benefit but has been unproven to show more than a negligible difference and therefore while I'm not going to insult someone who does think it helps them I'm also going to state the limited ways I use it.0 -
I'm actually drinking it right now0

1 is on mice, doesn't necessarily translate to humans
2 diabetics doesn't mean it translates to healthy individuals, also done on fasted subjects and small sample size0 -
I love it in a smoothie! My favorite green smoothie? 1 cup water, 1/2 cup frozen pineapple, 1/2 cup frozen berries or peaches, 1 scoop Amplify XL Vanilla Flex protein powder, 1 T Chia Seeds (or Flax seeds), 1 T ACV, 1 T Matcha green tea powder, and a BIG handful of spinach!0

You don't. Simple as that! Another Dr oz snake oils0

I personally don't give a flying fig what OTHER people think. I use what WORKS FOR ME. Though I don't take ACV for weight loss. I find it helps my appetite (for those times when I'm craving everything!) and it does help keep me from getting colds and such and it gives me lots of energy. I can tell if I don't take it in the morning before I go to work. I'm tired and slow and feel sluggish. But if I remember to take it I feel refreshed and energized.
I just take two tablespoons with probably equal amount of water, suck it back with a straw real fast then take a big gulp of water. I use apple juice instead of water if I have some in the house and that really helps mellow the flavour but I don't usually have AJ around...0 -
I put it in my hair (No seriously, I do... it makes it sooo soft after a shower).0
