I just ate two tablespoons (33g since I measured on my food scale) and immediately gained an ounce! What's up with that?

It doesn't make you gain fat.0

Your weight fluctuates as much as 2 lbs in either direction (on average) a day. So don't weigh yourself multiple times a day after eating things! Stick to weighing yourself once a week or so, at the same time a day (I recommend first thing in the morning before you've eaten anything.)0

Is this serious?
33g is ~1oz so thats why you gained weight!0 -
Chicken makes you fat too.
So does turkey and grapes!
Asparagus makes you fat as well.
Broccoli.
Carrots....
I should note that anything you eat above TDEE makes you gain weight.0 -

First, peanut butter is a great food - eaten in moderation.
Second, anything you put in your body will make you gain weight in the short term. Weigh, eat a pound of carrots, the scale is going to go up.
Third, don't continually weigh yourself. It will drive your crazy and you'll make bad decisions based on normal body fluctuations.
Now, eat your peanut butter along with a healthy diet and you'll lose the weight you want.
Good luck!0 -
I know! So many foods I thought were good are just terrible. I drank a cup of milk earlier and gained half a pound!0
