Oh yes you can do it. You will learn what your triggers are. Mine is milk, apples, stress, fatty foods. Limit the triggers, if stress is one of them, learn to meditate, pray, go for a walk, whatever helps you as an individual. Drink plenty of water. Get plenty of rest. Some high fiber foods eaten more than once daily may cause an episode. Experience is your best teacher, sorry it's not the same for everyone. I never leave home without my bag. The bag contains Immodium, a change of underwear, baby wipes and a bottle of water. Read as much as you can about IBS. Ripe banana helps me. Set a couple of goals for yourself. They don't necessarilly have to be weight loss. Maybe just drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday for a week or spend 10 min daily doing relaxation, deep breathing. Then adjust your goals to include modest weight loss. This web site is excellent, stick with it. You can do it. God bless you.0

thanks so much, very stressful period at home is likely what triggered me so I do have to watch that. doing yoga. I think my food trigger s may be orange juice and tomato juice. I do know its kind of trial and error. Love the idea of the travel pack thanks for that idea! I am nervous about managing this and still trying to lose weight so its nice to have some reinforcement.0
