Stare back. Wink if you meet eyes. Winking is pretty creepy in real life.
This took me several reads to understand, btw.0 -
I'm not sure what you're saying...you think people are staring at you because of your weight?
You can 1.) ignore them 2.) let it ruin your day/life 3.) ask them what they are looking at.
I choose #1.0 -

Like they're purposely staring at you to bother you? I've never felt like that, except for back in 7th grade when this one boy named Travis would purposely stare at me for prolonged periods just trying to make me uncomfortable so him and his stupid friends could laugh at me.....but that's a story for another time.
I actually feel the opposite sometimes - like some people see a 'big' person coming towards them and they avert their eyes. I don't know why and I don't even know if it's true - I could just be paranoid. LOL0 -

Pretty sure it's all in your head. You may want to talk to someone about this, because when you lose the weight you'll still have this unresolved issue
Why is this written like a poem? Is this some sort of modified haiku?0 -
There are two possibilities here:
1) You are being paranoid and no one is staring at you any more than they would stare at anyone else. You only notice because you are self-concious.
2) People really are staring at you. If so, they're the ones with the problem and you should just ignore them.
It might be a good idea to talk this through with someone. I've been paranoid before, but only realised at a later date.0 -
maybe he likes the way you look0

Well since im a guy for my whole life,
i stare at women and sometimes bug them
me i also like to stare at the same chicks everyday i just like staring
at them and making myself feel happy And just wait for them
so I can stare at them Gotta love hot chicks to stare at!
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.0 -
I don't worry about it. I love to think that I am in the person's mind! Then they can't do what they need to do. I love the quoting of Robert Frost.0

I'm a people watcher, I like watching their interactions with others, but not in a creepy way.
My partner has said to me, quit staring at that person, when in actuality, my eyes may have been directed at someone but mind my was on something totally different and I wasnt really seeing the person at all. It's like I'm locked in thought about something that doesnt even correspond to where I am at or what I am doing. I'm a deep thinker. LOL0 -

No one is staring at you.
You are not the big deal you think you are, nor are you the center of all things.
You only have this illusion because of your belief in your own self-importance.
Get over yourself.
is your nickname Sunshine?0 -

I'm pretty sure it's just paranoia--I used to feel like this at times. But, I also just looked at your pics (hope you don't mind), and you are beautiful! Maybe that's why they are looking at you?0

Contort your face in the weirdest way possible, then keep staring at them like that until they look away.0

People aren't looking AT you, they are looking THROUGH you. You are invisible.0

You should understand some things about people's default behavior. Evolutionarily speaking, we are to a large extent pattern recognition processors. Our eyes are probably our most developed of the 5 senses because it was necessary for survival. The animal that could identify the good red fruit from the poisonous red fruit lived. It was important for our ancestors to see predators coming from a great distance away, because we didn't run as good as them, but we were vertical, and could climb trees. Predators could hide in the tall grass and blend in with their fur patterns. We needed very acute optical abilities, color differentation, high resolution, in order to see them and survive.
People look at things. They stare, they make judgements about everything, consciously or not. It's some of our most low level programming if you will. Understand also that almost nobody looks at people with the intent of coming to a negative conclusion, we are just naturally interested in looking at things and making decisions about objects and events. Realizing all this you can then say, well, if people are looking at me that's just what humans do.
At the gym I'm very aware of how people's gaze can make things more awkward and uncomfortable and being aware of that I do my best not to contribute to it. So I don't look at people, and I'm very forgiving when people are looking at me. I know that a certain significant percentage just can't help it. It's in their nature, they're gonna look.
I say don't worry about it. Lots of people of all different shapes and sizes out there and you could say there are many of us who take our gift of vision for granted.0
