Jiggle it and it will come off?

I have the most awsome Mother ever and she told me that if you jiggle the fat, it helps burn it faster. Is there any truth to this? I have lost 50 pounds so far in my weight loss journey and as of right now the thing that is bothering me most is the excess fat at the top of my rear. I was told the best way to get rid of that is to jog. I would love to jog but have bad knees. Any suggestions?

Jogging might get rid of it but it won't be because it jiggled.0

Anyone else remember that old timey exercise machine you see in movies? It's like a white towel that goes around your bum and it giggles the hell out of you.
Anyone?0 -

If this is true, I should have the best-looking calves in existence. I tend to bounce my foot when I sit at my desk.0

What if you're unintentionally jiggling?0

Jiggling?!:noway: ...ah NO. But a good exercise program made up of cardio and strength training does a body good. There's no need to run. Try low impact aerobics. Leslie Sansone's walk at home DVD's are excellent for low impact. Join a gym, walk on a treadmill, walk outside, pick up heavy things, dance, zumba, stay in calorie deficit and you'll get results. No jiggling please!!:flowerforyou:0

if its jiggling from jumping up and down, running, etc. then yes.
if your just grabing a handful and shaking it, thats not going to do much lol0 -
Suggestion for bad knees is walking and treadmill at an incline is the best. I do try to do some squats a couple days a week but never consecutive days and take supplements.:flowerforyou:0

It's the opposite of true. The more you jiggle, the worse the likely outcome for your skin shrinking back. Compression gear FTW.0
