Lies that I used to tell myself...

"It's just baby fat"
Which I idiotically believed well throughout my teen years!0 -
oooh ooh wait anyone else use this one??
" I look mighty good in this SHAPE WEAR" LMAO0 -
I'm tall so I carry the extra weight well.
Until I didn't....0 -
Yes, I'm over weight...but I'm active and healthy...It's always good to have a few extra pounds...Hmmm what exactly is a few extra...50? I'm built like my Grandmother...it's in the genes.0
-
I can eat whatever I want and exercise to make it up later.0
-
i don't have a drinking problem.
i'm a social drinker!
it makes me charming.
I used to believe this too...but eventually, my wife convinced me of the truth...and that is, when I drink, I become obnoxious(er).
is this post about drinking or eating/exercising lol. uh oh .0 -

If no one saw you eat, the calories don't count.0 -
I don't look like I weigh 260
I am big and proud, and confidence is enough.
I love the way I look0 -
"You're young, you have heaps of time to lose weight"
lol0 -
I'm a mom now so this is what I'm supposed to look like.
There is no time to exercise now that I'm a mom (ok so what was my excuse for eating so badly!)0 -
"I can't"0
-
I'm big boned lol0
-
my pants just got smaller from laundering..0
-
I'll just finish the bag/box/carton and then they will be out of the house - I don't want to waste the money I spent.0
-
Where do I begin?!!
I'll just finish these and start again tomorrow.
This is the weight I'm supposed to be.
I look great for my age.
I have short legs so they just look fat.
and the #1 lie I had to stop telling myself?
"I'm fat."
I had to stop believing that one to start my new lifestyle.
It's the hardest one for me to drop but I remind myself it's just an old habit.0 -
I can't
It's too hard (still struggle with this one)
I'm doing enough, if the weight isn't coming off it's not my fault.
It's the holidays
It's a party
I deserve a treat
I deserve a break
I'm not *that* overweight
(man, i had / have a lot)
i'm trying to work on some truths to tell myself0 -
It's the mirror, it's the kind that makes me look fat (like the ones in the shop changing room. LOL!!)0
-
Others would tell me, "Don't get too thin", or "You're getting too thin" - when I still had room to improve and more to lose. I've believed this lie before, but not this time......0
-
I deserve this goodie (whatever the temptation is at the time). Problem is...I still use this one and then dislike myself afterward.0
-
I'm too busy today I'll plan to make changes tomorrow
I'll make a list and that will motivate me
If I have a plan then I'll magically start doing what I need to to lose weight
I'm a mom I'll never have a flat stomache0 -
"I'm NOT going to dance on the bar tonight"0
-
Coupla soul searchers came up on the treadmill this am:
If I get too skinny, he won't love me anymore.
If I get too skinny, he'll get mad and jealous.
(Neither is true.)
If I work out extra hard I can eat all I want tonight when I go out.0
