does SPANX really work?

So I have a dress that I could fit into to attend a funeral in two weeks except for my prominent tummy bulge! Does anyone have any suggestions of undergarments that actually will suck in my stomach without squishing it elsewhere? Has anyone tried SPANX? Help! :grumble:

    a friend was wearing them at a wedding on Sat. She said she loves them!

    Yup. Just about the hardest dang things to put on!!! But they do smooth :bigsmile: And....mine are a knockoff kinda. Hanes. Wally World and Target have them!

    they also sell the knock offs of the chicken cutlets to make you look as it you have a bigger breasts...

    THANKS SO MUCH. I have three wedding and a funeral (no kidding) and my dresses are all about 5 pounds out of reach. Maybe SPANX is the answer. I will give them a try! :flowerforyou:
