Hey Hi! My girl is on here, has had great success and so I climbed aboard and dove right in. Two weeks and love it , love it!
Have a silly question.....So, if Im to have a 1200 calorie a day goal to loose the weight I'd like.....what does it mean when Ive hit my "ideal" weight??? Am I expected to maintain a 1200 calorie a day diet to maintain that weight???? What say ya'll?

HelloDahli72, I believe you're definitely going to have to either cut back on the exercise or definitely up your calories a couple hundred to maintain & not continue to lose.0

Thank you! I guess what I mean tho, is to not gain the weight right back...what should my calorie intake be? I sure dont wanna have to live on only 1200 calories a day for the rest of my life! :-) Maybe if I just upped it to 1400/1600 I could maintain a healthy svelt body?!0

If you set your goal to "Maintain", MFP should recalculate your calorie goal for you.0

Hi Dahli, I am glad to see that you are using MFP, it is a great site. Once you reach your goal weight, to
maintain that weight you will probably need to add more calories to your diet until you reach a point where
you are not gaining or losing, especially if you remain active. Good luck with MFP, I am sure that you will find
this site very beneficial.0 -
Oh good, that makes sense! I guess if I poked around a lil I'd have found that! See there's that lazy girl in me! :-) But man oh man am I feelin better!!! Whoooo hoooo, two weeks and my fly girl jeans are sliding right on....well...my big girl fly girl jeans...you know I have 3 or 4 different sizes....fat jeans, a little less fat jeans, "Im feelin pretty good now" jeans, and skinny jeans! :-) Thanks for all your responses!0
