No idea. I was holding at over 300 lbs.
Now, I am all the way down to 2050 calories a day to lose 2 pounds a week! I'm eating like a bird now.0 -
I eat around 2000 calories a day. When I was fatter I only ate about 1200.0

I started at 290 pounds and based on my height I was eating 2400 calories to maintain that weight.
I know weigh 170 pounds and my maintenance calories are 1745 calories.
So I'm eating at a deficit of 1200-1250 calories per day.0 -
Around 2500-3000 a day. Some days, maybe once a week, around 4000. That's how I blew up to 238 pounds!
Edited to add: now eat 1500-1800 a day. Some days, more like around 2000.0 -
I was eating over 2000 calories a day and gaining a couple of pounds a year. I am now on maintenance. I eat up to 1600, but I spent six months eating 1200 to lose weight. So, I eat what I want and am usually shy of 1600. I haven't gained any weight back, which I am very happy about.0

No idea what I was eating before, way too much!! Its taken a little bit of experimenting, but now im on 1700 a day, and seems to be great.0

OM gosh, I used to think I ate hardly anything until I logged stuff.
I ate at 1200 cals for a year from MFP goals plus exercise. I am now given 1560 plus exercise for maintenance.
I dread to think what I was eating before I started logging0 -
Now I eat around 1500-2000 cals a day, depending on the day. Before I probably ate around 1800-4000 cals a day, depending on the day.0

A bit over 2100 calories a day0

I take in about 1,000 - 1,200 calories... I have not decreased my calorie in take... But I do eat healthier...
I try not to eat the extra calories that MFP gives me when I workout... Just so I stay consistent with my in take.0 -
Before I had no idea how much calories I took in. Now I take in 3000 and it works great for me.0

before your start healthy eating/lifestyle?
how much did you subtract from that number or you just go down with 1400-1800 cal diet?
Why are you asking? Are u trying to figure out how much you should be eating?? How much I eat does not mean it would be a good fit for you. If you want help with that you need to post your info, such as activity level, age, height, weight, goal weight etc. Many of us are happy to help you figure it out.0 -

Mine was around 4500 or so, and I just simply used MFB's recommendation for a sedentary person to lose 2 pounds per week.
I add back in exercise burn, then eat back those calories.
I am consuming between 3500 and 4000 per day.0 -
When I first started my journey, I was on a strict 700 calories of Protein only a day. I was full and I was dropping BIG numbers. Since then I have learned to count Protein grams and water intake in ounces and I eat around 2000 a day in calories. For me, it's easier to count the proteins and it has made my journey better and healthier.0
