I'm currently in Week 7 of a LMP - Insanity hybrid.. I didn't feel like Pump was giving me enough cardio and the off days with Flow/Walking surely wasn't going to do it.. So, on those days, it's Insanity. Seems to be working really good.. Since one is a 90 program and the other is 60 days, I had to modify and make my own calendar. I have never worked with weights before and I am loving Pump!!0

How quickly did you see results from LMP today marks 3 weeks and I have not seen any changes yet.
Body Pump is baby weight for me now. I started heavy weight training and its the best change I could have done.0 -

No I am not wanting results quickly. My first round I did get results quickly so I know it is slow to get the best results. I just have heard some people say they have seen results around the 3rd or 4th week. I upped my cals from 1350 to 1600 so that should help as well.0 -
I just started Pump a week ago at my gym. I was surprised how much I liked it. I didn't know there was an at home version, I'll check it out. Thanks for starting this thread0

I'm currently on my 3rd week but I started on month 2 since I had just wrapped up Chalean Extreme. I felt like month one wasn't going to be enough for me. Last week I upped my weights for arms and back. I won't go much heavier on legs because I have weak knees and don't want to chance messing them up. I go a total of 35 with lower body. so 17.5 on each side and then I just go a total of 25 on press (12.5 on each side). I am seeing results in my chest area and getting more defined in the shoulders. (CLX helped with the original definition) and my abs are starting to show more. I was lazy on CLX and never did the separate ab work,so i love that abs are included at the end of each of these workouts.
As far as weight..i haven't dropped any but just firming up a little more..0 -
I have been doing it since June and actually gained 10 pounds. I didn't follow the diet. I just bought the cardio Tae Bo dvd and do that three days a week and then do a 30 minute LMP the other two days. I need more cardio to burn fat. I am getting a treadmill here soon so hoping that helps. I need to get my eating under control for sure! Ugh!0

Hi all. I love LMP! I originally started at the beginning of November and lost ~8 pounds the first three weeks, but after Thanksgiving I really fell off the horse and didn't work out for 3 weeks and gained back the 8 pounds, yikes. I re-started where I left off and am now on day 25 and already down 4 of those 8 pounds, which is really exciting. I know I can get awesome results if I am consistent with the workouts and eating super strict. I stopped tracking my nutrition here for a while, but it really helps me stay on track, so I need all the support I can get and came back to MFG to start logging in my food.
As far as weights go, I still haven't put more than 10 pounds on each side. My core and back are really weak, so I'm afraid to load up too much for the back tracks. Also, having the bar on my shoulder for squats makes my upper back tight, so I'm somewhat lost on what to do about that. I think I can go a lot heavier than 10 pounds on each side for squats, but I don't want to compromise my back in order to do it. I think I need more than Flow to stretch me out, too. I'm thinking about doing either X Stretch or Yoga X on the says it calls for Flow just to get more of a stretch because I wake up so tight. Not necessarily sore, but really tight from all of the work we do on the back side from hamstrings up to back.
Anyway, I love this program and have started to play around with eating more carbs on strength days to fuel my workouts. I started out at 1300 calories per day and after 2 weeks was starving all the time, so I'm eating more whole foods, clean foods, and upped my calories to 1650 for now.

Day 29 done! Today started Pump and Shred and it was HARD. I was shaking and nauseous afterwards, but that's a good thing because pushing hard is what changes our bodies! I went to a garage sale with my boyfriend this morning and got Rodney Yee's Total Body Power Yoga for 1 dollar (yay!) so I'm about to push play on that to hopefully help stretch out my shaky muscles. So anxious to see my Day1 and Day30 pics!
How's everyone else doing? It's quiet in here!0 -
I love Pump! I started about a month ago in my gym after I got tired of the circuit machines. Wished I would have started it sooner, I am gradually increasing my weights and LOVE the class. I can see results already.0

i was doing Pump (at the gym) three times a week religiously (plus cardio) for about 6 months, then bam! The weight dropped off and this new body revealed itself. It was like there was a total re-composition that started slow then kicked in big time. Now I'm alternating Pump classes with circuit training and heavy weights on my own. My body is still changing for the better (more and more tone, strength and definition), but more slowly again. But that's OK. I'm not going anywhere. I plan to keep doing this 'till I drop.0

Day 34 today! I took my Day 30 pics, but am going to wait until Day 90 to share the before and after photos publicly. I am in love with this program more and more every day! In the first 30 day, I lost 15 pounds and went from a size 16/18 pants to a size 12/14. I was actually disappointed yesterday when I was getting ready to do Pump & Shred, but looked at the schedule and it said Rest Day. Soul mate workout
My boyfriend got me a dehydrator for Christmas, too, so I can start making more raw foods. So excited!
Kimad - I would love to take a Pump class at a gym! They seem to only be in 24HR Fitness, though, and I'm a member at LA Fitness
LadyIntrepid - That's amazing that all of your hard work came to fruition just like that when you least expected it! You are a perfect example of why we should trust the process and stay consistent. I'll definitely think of you on the days when I'm feeling unmotivated by what appears to be slow results because I know my body isn't ready to reveal itself yet!0 -
Where is everyone?? Day 45 for me with Pump Revolution! Down 19 pounds, and getting stricter with my nutrition. I want awesome results... post your accountability here if you do, too0

I am still loving the workout. I am at the end of my month two and here is my progress so far. The picture on the left was taken at the end of Chalean Extreme and then the right is current. I ended CLX on a Friday and started LMP that Monday

Thank you. I'm 5'6 and currently 129-130..the scale goes back and forth. I haven't done my measurements yet so I'm not sure on those. I generally eat between 1300-1400 calories a day depending on the day. I try to not going higher than 1500 right now. I haven't changed my calorie intake all that much. I have kept it pretty steady even through CLX0 -
I am currently in week 7 on Les Mills Pump Dvd series.
I see some changes in my abs, but not too much. I have GAINED 5lbs! Not too pleased about that, but am getting much much stronger, which is of course nice. I really enjoy the workout, so I am going to stick it out until the end, then perhaps do Insanity to shed the fat. Feel free to add me as a Friend if you would like.0 -
Just started this program after finishing 90 days of CLX so I would love to see success pictures as well
what kind of results did you get from Chalean? i want both programs and don't know which would be better for me...
I did CLx to didn't finish wasn't seeing any results!
I did CLx as well, didn't see results - started Les Mills Pump and LOVED it! But then I got lazy, life got in the way... and I just ordered Les Mills Combat and that should arrive by the weekend - I plan on doing combat and throwing in some lifting with Pump because I really liked that too!0 -

I highly recommend using the LMP Cross Training DVDs on the cardio days when it calls for walking! Stick with it you're doing great and doing Insanity next to burn fat after building muscle with Pump sounds like a wonderful idea! You'll be ready for summer in no time0 -
Day 57/90 today and anxious to take my 60 day progress pics! So far I'm down 22 pounds and right here right now I'm declaring that my goal is to lose another 15 in the next 33 days. And I'm going to crush that goal

I'm on week 2 and have gained 4 lbs I'm hoping that's because my muscles are retaining water to help repair themselves?? Any advice?? Thanks0
-
I'm still around 129 so not really a big loss in weight. I think total I have dropped about 5 pounds since starting LMP. I will wrap it up on 2/8 as far as finishing the program. Even though I haven't dropped a lot of weight I have more muscle definition.0

It could be the muscles retaining water. I didn't gain when I started this program but I did follow it right behind Chalean Extreme and maybe that's why. Definitely keep going! I really start being able to tell at my 60 day mark0 -
thanks!! I'm going to stick with it.....0
