Eat more calorie dense foods. Try adding in some good fats such as olive oil, avocado, nuts, etc. I eat 2000+ calories a day and have no problem meeting that number. Here's a typical day for me:
Breakfast:
3 eggs w/ 1/4 shredded cheese
Coffee & Creamer
Snack:
Serving of Almonds
Lunch:
Large salad with tomato, cucumber, a whole avocado, and hard boiled egg
3-6 oz of chicken breast/thigh
Snack:
1/2 cup no salt added cottage cheese
Dinner:
Chicken breast/thigh
Broccoli/spinach/green beans (or any other frozen veggie)
Small side salad
Once you start eating a good amount of real food you will get used to eating all of your calories.0 -
Find some good healthy "filler" snacks...I eat a lot of fat free cottage cheese and greek yogurt (good protein sources). Almonds are a great snack for healthy fats, too.
Also, maybe look into a good protein smoothie/shake...its a good way to get in your calories, and get a lot of good fats/protein.0 -
I second the eggs bit. It's higher in calories, but very healthy for you. Often surprisingly filling, too. I usually hard-boil them, but whatever floats your boat would work.0

When I am not hungry I will make a protien / smoothie with almond milk, banana, whey (EAS), baby spinach leaves, and PB2. Great source of protien and other things and calories are just over 200 calories. This will fill you up but not make you full. Also you can add or subtract things for your taste but you need to eat/drink your alotted calories for optimium energy.0

I looked at your diary, try eating real healthy food and not all that processed garbage.0

Eat dinner....so far you have had no veggies and only one fruit serving. There's been no appreciable calcium source. Have a proteinm, a starch and at least two veggies of different colours. A glass of milk would be great or maybe some Greek yogurt with some kind of fruit. I think you will find that comes to close to 600 calories. If you are short have a few nuts.0

some of my go-to higher cal snacks are:
- apple with all natural peanut butter
- greek yogurt with frozen berries
- almonds
- smoothie with protein powder
I have no problem eating high calorie. There are so many healthy choices you can just add to the food you're already eating.0 -
Eat some meat and vegetables.0

I agree with the above. Things like eggs and almonds are calorie dense and healthy. I'd add to that avocados and a treat like ice cream.0

Train your body to eat more frequently, eat higher calorie foods such as nuts, avocado, cook meats in evoo, or go to town on a peanut butter jar. You can also pick up high calorie protein shakes or bars.0

Add coconut oil or cream to your coffee or tea (so YUMMY), add nuts (nut butters too) and cheese into snacks (with fruit or dark chooclate - or get some Trio bars - YUM!), and avocado to any meal.
I looked at your diary as well and I would suggest some fruit and veggies. You can add butter, olive oil, or cheese to your veggies for more calories. Same with fruit - try a cup of raspberries with a few squares of dark chocolate instead of frozen yogurt or snackwells. When in doubt, choose the "whole food" option.0 -
Have a few beers.
When I room left, I drink 'em!0 -
Up your protein, healthy fats and whole grain consumption per meal.0

took a peek at your diary...where's dinner? I just went through a few days, but didn't see any dinner. Also, where's the meat (or other protein source), fruit, and veg? I'm seeing a lot of processed carbs, and very few whole foods. You need more whole, nutrient dense foods.0

I looked at your diary and it looks like you don't eat dinner, but snack on candy and chocolate instead. Try eating a solid dinner or trading out your candy snacks for nuts, boiled eggs, cheese... healthy and calorie dense foods.0

How is it hard to eat 1300 calories a day when I am sure someone ate well above this amount in order for them to want/need to lose weight now?! <Not trying to be mean or disrespectful here!> Weight loss or being in a calorie deficit over time can decrease hunger, however, like many have said, eat more calorie dense foods, such as natural peanut butter, lean meats, nuts, cook with EVOO.0
