You'll do it!
I'm not one for resolutions, but I want to be 20 lbs. lighter by March and quit smoking. Been wanting both for some time now.
Working on my before photos in a day or 2 and trying to log into MFP every day for inspiration.0 -
I've made so many healthy changes in the last year and I want to continue on that path of improving my health.
- never go more than 2 days in a row without doing some sort of intentional exercise.
- eat out less. and when I make a conscious decision not to eat out, that money is going into a vacation jar.
- eat in more. experiment with new recipes.0 -
I have joined a group of runners. We each will run 13 races in 2013! I chose 5K's and 10K's, but everyone within the group races what they want- anything from 5K's to 1/2 marathons, to tri-athlons, to Iron man races, to full marathons!
Each of us race about once every 4 weeks/once a month!0 -
I'm still working on resolutions I made in 2010
Best of luck to you ...... and anytime you feel like wavering, just push through it ...... JUST DO IT !0 -
2012, i made a resolution to try new things and lose 10 pounds. I did both but lost 26 pounds. For 2013, my resolution is to start going to church and lose 35 pounds.0

Keep up this health journey by exercising and eating healthier throught the year and beyond and ultimately get to my goal weight of 145 by July...... aiming to drop 15-20lbs by March......0
-
Keep logging in at MFP, it's so great for my personal accountability.
Plant my vegetable garden on time for both spring and fall.
That's it. Keep it simple.0 -
I want to start running this year (or atleast run/walking). I need to work on my cardio, plus I live by Lake Michigan and it would be such a lovely view.0
-
My resolution is just to log everything I eat. I figure, if I don't put a number on it, or an expectation, good things are bound to happen anyway.
Either that, or my food log will be the most atrocious thing you've ever seen.0 -
Run my very first half marathon in March!
focus on clean, conscious eating. My body can't perform if I don't fuel it right.0 -

I'm never again making a resolution to loose weight. Been there, done that... over and over and over. But I will resolve to be more productive, in all aspects of my life. If I've learned anything this year, it is that too much time has been wasted and each minute is precious.
Have a blessed New Year Everyone!0 -

My 2013 New Year's resolution is for 2012 to be the last time the phrase "I'm going on a diet", "I'm losing weight," "I need to start working out" will ever come out of my mouth again. So in other words 2013 will be all action. I won't even tell anyone that I'm on a diet or losing weight if it's mention. I will just say thanks. And if they ask what I'm I doing I will just say no talking and all walking Have A Happy New Year MFP0

Be 70lbs lighter on the last day of the year, than I am on the first day of the year.0

I am not a fan of New Year's resolutions, though - why wait??? But you have to start sometime so I have implemented these changes in the past eight weeks and intend to continue with these things throughout the entire year of 2013. This is a new lifestyle, not a short-term resolution.
1) Consistently logging everything on MFP, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
2) Lift heavy as often as I can in our home gym. That is turning into lifting heavy every Saturday and Sunday and I am trying to lift every other day.
3) I joined Anytime Fitness. I do cardio for 40 minutes on my lunch at work five days a week.
4) Continue wearing my FitBit One 24-7 and start using my Polar HRM for the workouts the FitBit doesnt track well (lifting workouts). Achieve my goals on FitBit's site at least five days a week. By the way... if you are a FitBit user or Anytime Fitness member, if you are an interactive MFP user, feel free to friend me here and/or over at the FitBit site!
5) Run a 5K this year.
6) I told MFP user SMC_Chick that once I can run 30 days in a row (not counting rest days), I want to get a dog to run with me. That may be the best reward from all of these changes, other than being able to keep up with my four kids and just looking and feeling better in 2013!
Its (practically) 2013. Let's party, fitness rock stars!!0 -
My resolutions???? H'm there's so much I want to do....
1. Lose 40 lbs by August
2. Learn to eat healthy and figure out how to hide healthy food in my families meals ;0)
3. Gain confidence back (lost confidence when I found the pounds)
4. Exercise atleast 3-5 times a week
5. Figure out how to keep up with life LOL
6. Get finances in order and be more responsible with money
7. Figure out what I want in life......
So many more but those others can wait for next new years resolution lol0 -
My resoultion is to stay comitted, that said there are a few steps to get me there. (1) Enter my food daily, (2) get my cardio in daily, and (3) add some strength training weekly.
*I'd also love to add running as my cardio once the weather clears up, even if it's just once a week!0 -
For the first time in my life I can't say it is to lose weight so I guess keep it off and save money.0
-
Be at my goal weight before the year ends lol.0
