Confused on how this works...

Ok so i just started today and I'm curious about the amount of calories I am supposed to eat a day. After i have entered my measurements and put in my daily activity level, it tells me that I am to eat 1340 calories a day. Is this correct? Should I be eating more than this? what do you do??

I try to eat 1200 a day.
One thing you can do is log what you have been eating and see how many it is. For some people it is easier to slowly cut down their calories once they know how many they have been taking in. Good luck!0 -
When I first started I ate 1200 calories a day, but my weight loss stalled after 2 weeks. I bumped it up to 1500-1600 calories a day, and was losing weight like a pro at that calorie level That's just me though!0
