    This recipe:

    http://www.sproutedkitchen.com/home/2011/12/29/lentil-meatballs-in-lemon-pesto.html

I use it not just as a 'meatball' recipe, but also as a hamburger bun and hot dogs. I just shape the dough differently!

Be sure to visit allrecipes.com. You can search for all kinds of recipes there.

I often make things like chili and fried rice using TVP instead of any kind of meat. Seitan and tempeh also make decent meat substitutes in recipes. You might want to look at the old non-veg recipes you used to like, and find ways to adapt them. If a recipe calls for bacon pieces I usually throw in TVP and a bit of smoke flavoring.

This recipe is delicious and the meat-eaters in my home love it, too: http://www.vegetariantimes.com/recipe/tempeh-oatmeal-meatloaf/

www.smittenkitchen.com has lots of veggie recipes. There is a great search engine on her website so you can find recipes based on what's in your fridge.

If anyone has any great veggie crockpot recipes, I would love to see them too!

I highly recommend the book "Veganomicon: The Ultimate Vegan Cookbook ". You can pick it up used on Amazon for about $15. The website Fat Free Vegan Kitchen is a great recipe resource too.

This is for a veggie pasta chilli I make its very tasty !

    1 onion
    1 Clove garlic

    Fry these together to soften

    Add
    Chopped Aubergine
    Chopped Courgette
    1 Can of Borlotti beans
    1 can of chopped tomatoes
    Tomato puree ( a squeeze)
Slice a chilli down the centre and add the pan (releases flavour better if keep whole)

    Simmer until veg is soft....

I serve it in between lasagne sheets layered.... with a little sprinkling of cheese so its a bit like a veggie chilli lasagne.

Any questions about it let me know and I will try dig out the original recipe.

http://www.theppk.com/ has some great recipes... the pintobean/seitan roast is fantastic sliced in a sandwich, or served like a meat roast.

http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/ has lots of great ideas for low carb/often vegetarian small dishes
