My wife always seems to like my arms after lifting, but the first time I went, "huh..." when looking in the mirror was a month or so ago and I noticed I'm starting to get a little definition in my chest. Not great, yet - but better than it was.

And while it's not definition, my shoulders look a bit wider than my waist now, although I'm not sure what exactly has changed. Time for measurements this weekend!

Triceps and shoulders. I just need to look at a weight for my triceps to grow!

I wish I had this problem....Chest and Back are my genetic strength....arms and legs are a weakness (except calves, which are decent).

I saw first progress in my back, then traps, biceps, and triceps.

Dead lifts ARE killer. between those and my pull ups, My "V" is crazy sore after a lifting bout.

I've only been lifting for about 4 months. My arms are more defined, and my biceps are bigger. My rear end is higher. That's the only thing I can see, other than the fact that I've clearly lost fat in my torso (I have an hourglass shape again), and I am wearing smaller jeans.

Triceps, (they grow faster than any other muscle for me)
    Shoulders
    Biceps
    Back
    Chest
    Lats
I may have abs now but I still have a little spare tire in the way. My major goal for 2013 is to see my abs.

I do all lifting with dumbbells and my own body weight.

Thank you for posting this - definitely helpful. I haven't even been lifting a full month yet, but I'm starting to notice a difference in my arms already.

I already have muscular calves, so my arms were the first place I really noticed a change.
