    Going to bump for official weigh-in tomorrow morning. Not thrilled with current weigh-in, but at least it's down from start of last month.

    I am just bobbing around this spot. Can't seem to break this cycle. I will drink more water today. The weekends always mess me up, It's not that I eat more, it's that i eat weirdly. Plus I don't get in my water. So I am going to pound the water today and swim tonite. See everyone later today.

    SO...I have GAINED since the last challenge! Am totally disappointed in myself but ready to get on it!!! I am going to focus on my eating since exercise will be out for me for a while. So...here we go on day one!

    Well, I didn't make my goal for the last challenge, but at least I'm 2.7 lbs lighter than I was 6 weeks ago! I'm aiming for a 6 lb weight loss this challenge.

    So...here's the meal plan so far for today:

    B-oatmeal, 1/2 c. skim milk, 2 c. coffee, 4 tbsp. sugar free creamer
    S-trail mix bar, banana
    L-14 baby carrots, 3 stalks celery, 2 tbsp. natural peanut butter, light yogurt
    S-100 cal. worth of almonds
    D-4 oz. chicken, some sort of veggie, maybe with some rice


    Personal goals for this week:
    1. Stay within calorie limits daily
    2. Only one planned snack in the evenings

    i am sure glad i never have counted on tuesdays. with what i have eaten so far today, it's a shame. just bored. waiting around for the carpets to dry, can't walk on them, so i sit on the computer and eat.

    my goals for this challenge are.....

    1) stay on track the whole 6 weeks (food wise) (this is the most important thing for me right now)
    2) get at least 3 days exercise in ( i really need the food control first)
    3)get in at least 1/2 gallon of water ( i started keeping a gallon milk jug of water in the fridge)

    that's is for me. too much more and i will give up.

    I have an amazing goal .... now....
    My husband and I have been having a debate for a year now on when or if we should have another baby... and we have finally decided the best time will be fall this year.... to have a baby before our son goes to pre-school next fall.... this will be our last baby and I want to be healthier then i was last time. Last pregnancy i started at 252 lbs.... and so i have until September 1st.... to get to 230 or under... I feel like i only gained 25 lbs with my son right at the end from beginning to delivery day..... so if i can get under 230..... then i will actuallly be LESS then i was when i started wyatts pregnancy at the END of baby #2....

    So... 20 weeks ... from today we will start TTC... and I will continue eating healthy and sticking to my points through-out my pregnancy... realistically losing 1-2 lbs per week would put my weight loss at 244 if i lose roughly 1 lb, or 224 :laugh: if i lose roughly 2 lbs.... per week.... ! SO I AM GOING TO BE WORKING MY TAIL OFF (literally lol) to get in shape to have a healthier, more fit, FUN, pregnancy since its my last !

    YAY Amy!!! How exciting!!! And a WONDERFUL way to stay motivated!!!! Best of luck to you!!!! We won't be trying for another for a while, but the hope is that I will be much lower by then also!

    Hey all!!! Sorry i was so massively MIA on the last three weeks of the last challenge!!! With a week at a conference, week on spring break/apartment hunting in South Dakota, and this past week flying by in school I just haven't been on MFP at all!! Luckily I have been able to maintain for the most part (don't even ask me how that happened).

    So I'm back on for this challenge, but it is going to be pretty tough. This 6 weeks will cover the last 5 weeks of my last semester of school, my friends wedding, my graduation, and the first week of my trip to Greece!! So BIG challenge here, but I set a pretty reasonable goal so let's hope finals (especially my oral comprehensive final next week) do not get the best of me!!!

    I was 150#'s when I started and I am again! I have been having my period (suppose to be in menopause) and still working on the thyroid med so I am bagging the next challenge cuz it seems like even with the calorie counting and ALL the fitness I go down then back up and it is too frustrating! I will post with ya every so often and hopefully I can join in again in 6 weeks! I wish you ALL the best and may you reach that 6 week goal you have set for yourself!

    good evening everyone. It is just beautiful here in STL! I know i put a gain on my weigh in. That is so I know where I am. Good luck to everyone on this challenge. I think I will just stay with losing 1 lb a week. I hope i can make up the one I gained.

    Verda- I understand about the thyroid meds and TOM. I never know if or when i will have my period. It sucks. I have taken thyroid med since i was in my twenties. I have never felt energetic. I can take the same meds for a year and then all of a sudden my blood work comes back and i need to change and then change back. I actually take less now then i ever have. Losing weight is definitely tough.

    Amy- congrats on the news. You can do what you need to do. I know you can.

    Well, between prednisone, inhaled steriods, transitioning off birth control, and not monitoring food like I should etc... I am back up in weight... but I am working hard, lifting weights 3 days/week, working out twice a day a few days a week and yet the weight is up. I'm going for 10 lbs in 6 weeks... but most of all I'm just trying to keep track of my calories at least 5 days a week, exercise 5/7 days, and keep journaling.

    I'm going to keep working hard! Sigh... back where I started, but going to REACH my goal!!!!

    Well, I had a 5 lb weight loss last challenge, but I attribute that to going off the BC pills. So now I have to work to have an ACTUAL weight loss for this round. Starting this past Monday, I really kicked myself into gear, but I need to not lose focus.

    MY GOALS:
    1) Continue to eat healthy throughout the challenge and not self-sabotage my efforts every 3rd or 4th day.
    2) Get in some form of exercise everyday.
    3) Keep a positive attitude so I can consistently see the 130s lb.

    today so far so good, breakfast is over and done, now to fill the morning until lunch. i have to stop thinking of food as a way to waste my day. oh, wait an aha moment. i use food to fill my day. need to find something else that works. i will go find a puzzle today and get me some good snacks.

    Bahama Amy, realistically you can still lose weight during your pregnancy as well! My high school best friend did just that, eating better and lost lots of weight during her pregnancy. She weighs less now than she ever has, and had a healthy 8 or 9 lbs baby boy. Keep truckin' along, I am excited for you!!!

    Having a difficult time drinking all my water. :grumble: I feel like an obstinate child, which amuses and frustrates me.

    B- coffee with creamer, diet green tea, Fruity Cheerios (no milk)
    L- Michelina's Santa Fe Beans & Rice (yum!), Diet Sam's Cola
    S - ??? I have 100 cals in cheese balls if I need a crunchy cheesy snack, but I hope to avoid snack time
    D- ??? maybe a hot dog casserole I have a recipe for, maybe fish sticks and veggies? I have Kiddo tonight, so my meal will vary based on her mood and what she wants to eat.
